We found Highgate Senior Living for my mother, and we're gonna start with assisted living for her. It's excellent. The rooms were clean, well cared for, and up to date. We haven't tried the food yet, but we're going on the 19th to have lunch there with my mom. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean and organized. It seemed like it was very homey, and had a lot of activity for the patients to do. They take them on day field trips, those kinds of things. So overall, it was good. We were very impressed.

I am very impressed with the high quality care my Mom receives at Highgate in Yakima. It has been a difficult transition for her so I have stayed in touch with the staff. They are very supportive! It gives me peace of mind knowing Mom is safe, shown respect and is well cared for. The staff is always willing to help any way they can.

We love Highgate in Yakima. Our 101 year old grandma lives there and is very well taken care of. The staff goes above and beyond. We are in touch with the staff often and they are kind and caring.

the deciding factor for me in choosing Highgate was the people...before mom moved in Mandy Peggy and Caila gave me emotional support thru a difficult transition..the staff at Highgate are caring and responsive to my moms needs.. Everyone at Highgate has become my moms family and mine too!

As you can imagine, dealing with our Mothers illnesses has created stressful moments for our family. But Mandy, Peggy, and all the staff have made this transition much easier. Knowing that you are taking good care of her, brings peace to our hearts. I drove up just as you were loading for a trip and I stood back to watch.I did not want her to not go because I was there, she was laughing and engaging with other residents, this is exactly what we are hoping for. Highgate Senior Living was very modern and big. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The residents had a little garden with the plants and they were cleaning them up and they were happy even.

My parents have lived at Highgate for about 6 months. They have been treated with respect and compassion. Activities and food services are first rate.

I have a friend that lives in Highgate, and she has been there about four or five years. I was responsible to help her get settled in there. I did not choose that one for my father for several reasons. One was because it is large. They have two levels, with private little apartments, but you almost had to be on your own and able to do things for yourself, and my father really wasn't at that spot. He would have gone to the memory care unit, which was downstairs. I've never gone in there, and I don't think he would be happy around those people. I didn't feel that it was the right place. My friend's room had a bathroom, a little living room, and a curtain that you could pull over the bedroom area and have it separated, which was perfect for her. She has adjusted well. She doesn't use the shower in her room, so they let her have spas instead, and they do charge a little bit for it. They are well organized. They've got good staff. I've seen them take care of people. They got a good medical staff. There was really nothing about it that I didn't like. It's just that it was not the place for my father. I didn't feel he would be comfortable there.
