My mother was at Summitview Healthcare Center. It was very nice. They were very attentive. They had a lot of people. Mom said their food was good, too. The staff members were very good. The nurses came in and helped Mom; they didn't want her walking by herself without a walker. It's a beautiful place.

I moved my parents to this property when my mom could no longer be in an Assisted Living facility in town. Mom went to the nursing home while dad was able to move to a totally independent apartment on the campus. First time living apart after 62 years of marriage. Dad was able to visit mom every day, without having to "drive" to see her, until she passed away nine months later. After mom passed, dad liked the entire campus so much, he has decided to stay here. Nursing Home (private or double rooms): They handle and do EVERYTHING! Cleaning, Meals, etc. Mom's care during her final nine months was so tender and personal. They treated her like a queen. I never once was concerned for how she was treated. The communication between the staff dad and I was outstanding. How they also helped dad, as mom declined, was ABOVE AND BEYOND what I could have ever hoped for. We have a LARGE family (90 in mom & dad's family tree) so we got a private room out of respect for roommates, not wanting to disturb them. We had LOTS of family/friends coming into town to visit every week. Dad would also spend most of the day with mom. I'm really thankful to the staff here. I have recommended to other friends in town, with aging parents, to strongly look at this campus as home care is no longer an option.
