We went to Blossom Place Senior Living. The experience was really good. One of the staff that took care of it and a couple of nurses were extremely friendly and helpful. They explained things to us. It was very nice. The facility was extremely clean. People all seemed to be in a pretty good mood for the most part. The rooms were pretty standard. They were handicap accessible for walkers and wheelchairs. I had seen some older places that weren't well set up, but this place looked nice. We looked at the menu and it looked good. The residents were playing bingo when we were there. They had a schedule up. They had Bible study and church services planned on Tuesday and Sunday. They had a trip to Walmart planned for folks. There was other stuff going on but it was right after Thanksgiving, so they were getting ready for Christmas decorating and stuff, so they had fun stuff to do. Everyone was pleasant.

My mom used to stay at Blossom Place Yakima. We really liked that place a lot for her. It was assisted living. She didn't need memory care at that time. The food wasn't the best, but the rooms were nice. They got good care there. The staff was very friendly too.
There was a little area with computers if anybody wanted to use them. They had an area where the residents played games. There was another room where they had a TV to watch. They had a little outdoor area too, that they could go to if they wanted to. I know they played bingo and did painting. The place was very well-maintained. They took good care of it. They just remodeled it too, so that was nice.

Blossom Place was the one we chose had my mother not found a way to go back home. That was a very nice facility with activities. It was all one-story. They had nice rooms. They had things like bingo and card games. They had a lake with ducks and things that they could watch. They could walk outside to breathe the fresh air. It was very desirable.
