The Park-Oak Grove has been upgrading and doing some general updates in the apartment that my mom will be moving in. We chose to move her there, because we found the residents to be consistently happy, comfortable, had a positive outlook, and were just excited about the day's events. They're very engaged, which is the exact thing that we were looking for mom. I had been to some other facilities that I was not impressed with. I did not feel they were a great fit, but The Park-Oak Grove kind of checked all the boxes. They're responsive and full on staff. They have on-site registered nurses as opposed to just LPNs, as well as physical and occupational therapists. So, there are a lot of pluses.

We moved my mom here 8.5 years ago. She loved her large unit west facing unit with a balcony. She could have some plants and bird feeders making it feel more like home. My mom thrived in this assisted living environment. She loved all the plans activities and the food. Unfortunately due to health decline we are moving on the next chapter in a nursing home with lift capacity. But if you are looking for a great residential setting for pure assisted living the Park Oak Grove should be on the list.

My mom was a resident at The Park-Oak Grove for 2 years, and I cannot say enough nice things about the staff and facility. Anytime there was a need, the entire staff came together to make sure she was happy and well cared for. She recently passed away, and the nursing staff was with us every step, providing compassionate care for mom and for our family. Until her illness, mom enjoyed the wide variety of activities, including day trips, exercise classes, Bingo, and special holiday meals and crafts. She had a 2-bedroom apartment, which gave her plenty of space for a separate tv room/office. She also had a spacious balcony where she enjoyed fresh air and flowers. One of the wonderful services at The Park is the physical, occupational, and speech therapy which is available on-site as needed. The therapists are truly amazing-compassionate, energetic, and caring. My mom looked forward to her time with them, and I credit them with adding much life to her final years. Mom made wonderful friends at The Park, and our family is grateful for the care she received.

The Park Oak Grove was a nice place. It was a little bit older and outdated, but the staff was really knowledgeable. They had GPS tracking system for the residents, which was really helpful. They gave me some cookies to take home, which was delicious. The way the residents interacted with the staff was really nice, too. They had a nice outdoor area for the residents, they had a calendar of events, and they had a community room. There was also a very sociable time for the residents as well. They had days where the family come and visit. Of course they had outings. The dining area was really nice was almost like a restaurant. Also their director used to work for the Department of Aging for the state. It is really impressive that they're getting the best care because she knows what the regulations are.

The Park - Oak Grove was the most appealing, friendly, approachable, and very homey. They were attentive and had a bus that drives them around to different places for shopping and dining, in-house activities, and in-house therapy and nursing care. The dining area was neat and well spaced out. The residents were friendly and appeared happy there.

Right now, my mother is in The Park Oak Grove. She has been there for almost three years now. She is on level 2 care. Overall, we're very pleased with what we have. They have a lot of stuff going on all the time. During the week, she can play cards with her friends. They have activities that are organized. They bring in choirs and musicians every once in awhile. Food is absolutely wonderful. My mother doesn't miss any meals. It's very good. My mother is very difficult to work with but the staff members have been very patient with her. We pay for my mother to get two supervised showers a week, but there has been times when they have missed those. Nevertheless, the staff is better now than it has been. What they have now is extremely good. It's a lot of money, but nobody's cheaper.

The Park was very nice. Their facilities were in great shape. Everything was very comfortable and very inviting. The administrators were very kind and helpful on the tour, and the things that they offered were very nice. My mother did like it. They had different recreational activities and social activities. They had a beautiful dining area and special Holiday activities. They had an open house they invited us to for Thanksgiving, and they had really nice things. It looked like the people were very happy and very comfortable. They had different levels of service, so you could stay in assisted living, and the only way you would have to move is if you were bedridden, which I liked.

I’ve been working with the girl named Fran; she is like the director at The Park. We liked the way everything was setup for what she needs. There’s apartment room, three meals, and activities. Staff seems to be good too.

I visited Park Oak and I thought the house was really nice. We liked it a lot and the people were very friendly. Unfortunately, we ruled that one out because it was not an "age in place," so if our patient would require assisted living, we would have to move her to another place. The staff was very friendly, nice and good. We're very happy and we would have considered it if she could "age in place." The grounds are beautiful and it's very good. It was a very pleasant exprience. The apartments are very nice. I thought they were a very good place. They had great places for people to sit. I don't think they have an area for having groups and for individuals to get together and do activities.

The Park-Oak Grove was our favorite, but for some reason, my sister didn't like it that much. We looked at one of the apartments there, and it was very spacious. It had a nicer design, compared to the other places we visited. It was also a clean community. They seemed to have a lot of activities going on. They do have a younger clientele. The person who toured us around was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

We moved my brother-in-law at The Park – Oak Grove. When I walked in, the lady that waited on me was excellent. Everybody was very friendly, and he is very happy. The place is very clean and nice. I was very impressed. They have different activities, like they have bingo, music, Wii bowling, and parties.

I visited The Park - Oak Grove, and the people working there were wonderful. The building and the facilities were much older, but the people were super nice. They had very few two bedrooms and no two bedrooms with two baths. They had a bible study going on and many activities where I met a couple of the residents. It was wonderful there. I liked the people that I met, and the community had a very comfortable feel to it, a very happy feel. They were also very clean, and I would recommend them.

The person I met was very friendly. I cannot remember the activities that they had, but they did had a big calendar posted up where you could see all the activities and all the menus. It was nice. The apartments were nicer because they were much larger, and they had a deck on it so my mom and dad would have had an outdoor living space. There was only one bedroom, but it was really large, and the kitchen was nice. The facility itself was nice. I got along great with the administrator, but the whole atmosphere did not seem as outgoing.

The Park - Oak Grove provides bus transportation to places. They have an excellent kitchen in the room, and they serve the meals restaurant style. It is also a mile and a half from the hospital.

The Park-Oak Grove is a very nice facility. I think that everybody there was very, very friendly. Their services are comparable. The rooms were a little bit smaller than what I had seen.

My grandmother moved in as a resident and remained there until she passed away five years later. The care providers are professional but friendly, and operate within their limits. Some of her best friends there were employees in the dining facility, who always went beyond their duties to make the residents stay more pleasant. The Park-Oak Grove has regular activities during the week, such as game night, film night, bible study, and exercise class, that my grandmother looked forward to. The cost of small room services is expensive and over-priced.
