Welcome to New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care

At New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care, our centrally located kitchen allows the smell of home cooking to permeate throughout the house, enticing residents out of their rooms to enjoy delicious meals and the companionship of others.

Our cozy physical design allows residents to enjoy the kitchen, dining, and living room only a few steps from their private apartment. Just around the corner is another day room, a hair salon, and a sunroom. We eliminated long halls and hidden corridors so our residents won’t lose their way. Activities are at their doorstep, and caregivers are close at hand. Depression and insecurity are minimized by our close, open, and home-like atmosphere where friendship and caring are optimized.

We believe that our residents, who experience progressive illness with cognitive impairment and challenges, still have the right to experience life with opportunities for growth and fulfillment. We understand that those with memory challenges experience a very different environment. We support our residents, in their reality, and the people who love them.

My sister has been at New Haven Assisted Living in Kyle for a few months. When I toured this community before moving my sister there I was impressed with how clean the entire facility was. I watched the care givers interact with the residents and was hopeful that New Haven was what we were looking for. Now after she has been there for a few months I can honestly say they have exceeded my expectations. I cannot say enough about Madison and the staff. They are all, without exception, kind, caring, and patient. They have worked with us during the transition from another community and have gone the extra mile in every circumstance. I am grateful that my sister is living in a community where she receives the best care possible.

My mother has been there almost 2 years. During the Covid Pandemic, they have been extremely careful, and efficient in keeping my mom healthy. During the ice storm this year, the directors even stayed at the facility, to ensure that the residents were safe and well taken care of. The social director keeps my mom engaged with great activities to keep her active and alert. She loves being in a smaller facility, and gets so much personal attention and care, we couldn't ask for anything better for her!

I want to thank Kim , Dora , and Illianna for volunteering their Thanksgiving Day to help all us seniors that need assistance ! Our chef Joe spent today as well, served us a traditional T-Day dinner , with all the trimmings ! 11-28-2019

New Haven is a very good facility, and my father has been there since November. It's a smaller facility with only 16 units that has a separate memory care unit. It was a reasonable distance from my house, and the price was also a bit lower. Another reason we like it is because it has a central kitchen. They have a lot of people who are in extreme conditions and have severe problems, so even though it's assisted living, it's more like a nursing home. They also don't have as many activities as I had hoped.

Mom moved into New Haven a month ago. She has a clean, nice, and spacious room. The food looks good. The staff is really good. I'm very pleased.

New Haven is wonderful, like a home away from home. The people are very friendly, and you could see the residents are all taken care of well. It’s very nice. The rooms are like efficiency apartments, but it’s a really pretty big room. The bathrooms are sufficient. They also have a community bathroom that's bigger if you wanted more space. You can have your own furniture or they have minimal furniture available. That’s the only place where they also have furniture.

I really liked that New Haven was a small facility with only 16 rooms, had a very nice staff, and didn't smell. The rooms were nice and included a bathroom and enough room to fit your stuff.

I am currently residing at New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care. The staff is very nice. They help me with bathing, dressing, and grooming. The food has been terrible the entire shift. It is a new facility, and they are just getting set up. They have two sections in two buildings. They have assisted living in one building and memory care in another building. I'm in the assisted living. I can get out to the patio out back where I could go and smoke. The staff is quite nice. That is the best part about it. I am presently having trouble, but it is nothing with the staff but with the facility. They have bingo and sing-a-longs. They have music people come by. The facility is huge, clean, and pretty. The rooms are large, and it is a nice place.
