The Anthology of Plano looks new. They have appliances in their rooms, like a refrigerator and a microwave. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They have a gazebo. Their rooms are well organized. They have large and small rooms. The dining area is restaurant-style and has a lot of space. They have a salon.

Anthology of Plano was very nice. They're very helpful and very good. The facility looked very nice. It's relatively new, looked well maintained, spacious, and had good activities. I haven't been there long, but a couple of hours; so, it's hard to give a high rating for that. The one staff that we dealt with was fine and they were friendly all around. It's a nice-looking facility.

I talked with several residents at The Village at Mapleshade who were veterans, which is something my father would be very much interested in. They had an arts and crafts area and nice rooms. The staff during the tour was very helpful. I really liked their facility and the layout. They had the assisted living and the memory care area separate. The food smelled great.

Lack of consistent staff or director. Concerns often had to be taken above Director and still no urgency to get things done. Very pricey. Fernando tried to do well with he food which was mostly frozen.
Never had a "full-time" Director of resident care and the "nurse" was never there.

I liked the Mapleshade. It is really nice, beautiful, and the food is excellent. However, it's too big for Mother. They didn't have activities yet when I first toured the place.

The Village at Mapleshade is great, and we love it. The staff is excellent. They have a theater, exercise, beauty shop, and bingo. The rooms are beautiful. The room that my mom is going to stay in is gorgeous.
