About This Community

Sundance Memory Care is a fresh innovative approach to caring for individuals and their families who experience memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease, or other dementia related symptoms. Sundance is the premier memory care community in Texas.

It is incredibly difficult, at times, to see “the good” as you watch a loved one struggle through the impact of memory regression. Our diligent focus is to lift up and support our residents and their families with a level of care that individually engages the resident and includes their family. You will see this demonstrated as you begin to receive pictures emailed or text messaged to you of progress and successes as we work through your loved ones care plan.

Details matter. Details really matter when it comes to the living environment of someone living with any form of memory regression. The floor plan of the home? Important. The color of the plates? Important. Rounded corners in their bedroom? Important. Each choice made in the layout and amenities of a Sundance community is made with memory care in mind.

My father has been staying in Sundance Memory Care at Towne Lake for full care. The facility itself is very good and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful. I've tried their food on Thanksgiving things and they've had family meals, and the food is good. They have a lot of activities. My dad can't partake in any of them, but they play cards with them, they do things like building activities, and they play movies on the big screen in each little section. They've got an outside atrium-type area where they can walk in. The rooms are very nice. They have worked even through COVID, and my finances. I wasn't able to cover what was left of my dad's care, and they worked with me.

My mom is in a memory care center at Sundance Memory Care at Towne Lake. It has a lot of turnovers and the food isn't very good. The activities director is being pulled in too many different places to do activities. The good thing about it is the residents don't ever get sick, and there is no Covid in the whole facility. My mom has been there for two and a half years now, and none of the residents that I know of in the past have ever had a cold, had been sick, had broken a hip, or anything like that. The staff members are not very friendly. They have bingo, they have coloring and painting, they have a garden where they plant flowers, and they hit the ball with the foam stick. It's a very open concept, and you can easily see where the residents are. There is a wraparound garden, so it's very bright.

Sundance is an amazing community for dementia and Alzheimer's patients. The level of care is unsurpassed. The entire staff, from the directors to the nurses and staff, have a genuine love of their residents and their residents' families. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure Sundance is a home for everyone who walks through their doors. Beyond that, Sundance cares about the community. Their partnership with local schools benefits residents and children, and further strengthens the sense of community. Passion, authenticity, love, and devotion make Sundance a place where generations can age with dignity.

Amazing Facility with staff that truly cares about their residents. I am so glad this place opened in Cypress and you can truly feel the love in this place.
