We went to Prosperity Pointe. It's great because it's all included in the price whereas, at the other facility, every step is a cost. At Prosperity Pointe, your med pass, if you need more care like bathing and stuff, it's all the same price. Whatever price they give you is what the price will be. It was an old hotel building, so they transformed it into assisted living. The rooms aren't perfect. It's a walk-in shower with just a little lift, which is fine. It was big enough, and it was nice. They had a lot of activities and they even have a bus that takes them out, but because of COVID, they haven't been able to do that. They play games, and they got a craft room. They have a little activity room, and they have a community room where people could sit and watch TV. The staff was very nice. It's an older place, so it's not as big or luxurious as the others, but it is affordable.

Prosperity Pointe is a hotel that has been turned into a senior living center. All the rooms, I believe, are like a hotel room. They would furnish it or you could bring your own furnishings for the one room. They have a little kitchenette, but all your meals will be taken in the community. We just found it to be a lackluster kind of a place. The staff was very congenial and knowledgeable about the property and very helpful to us. It was just that the property was not anything that we felt we would like to live in unless we were unable to pay for other places. They told us they had a lot of activities. They had a central dining area. I didn't see any outdoor amenities. We were not shown anything other than just the landscaping. It was a small hotel or motel turned into a senior living and it's owned and operated by a doctor.

Prosperity Pointe is excellent and has very caring staff. It hasn't been that long since my mother moved in there, but from what we've seen so far, she gets excellent care. We feel very safe with her there. So far, I think everything is good. They did Easter-egg coloring, and they had an Easter service. They do outings to take people out to local areas, and they have some exercise activities, too.

One of my friends' husbands was at Prosperity Pointe, so I had been there for Thanksgiving last year. It's the place that he wound up going because it was a VA facility. They didn't do virtual tours live because of privacy issues. I know somebody who is there now also. They are very well organized, very caring, and very efficient. They're taking videos of the spouse during this COVID so the person at home knows what's going on. It looks nice enough, but it's not fancy. It's not as pretty as the other place, but the caring that I know for a fact of the people who work there is excellent.

My Dad lives at Prosperity Pointe. It is a joy to always see friendly faces interacting with him. Before moving into Prosperity Pointe, my Dad was not eating well or consistently. Now he enjoys three meals a day with his new friends. I have eaten dinner with him several times and the food is both nutritious and delicious. I have complete peace of mind and feel extremely comfortable with all the staff; He receives excellent care from the nurses and caregivers. Every time I visit, he and his room and bathroom are tidy and clean. He stays busy participating in all the activities and frequently goes on outings with the group. I am very happy with Prosperity Pointe and the care they give my Dad.
