This has to be the worst facility in Memphis! The lady at the front desk is not people friendly at all and the staff is the worst. All they care about is getting paid there and nothing else. My father was there and due to the lack of care he passed away. He was often dehydrated! Why I will never know.

My mother was put in this nursing home on 5/25 and I fought tooth and nail for this not to happen because of the horror stories that I know about nursing homes. To my surprise the care was much better than I thought of. My mother thought those people was her family. They all knew her and came in her room to make sure she had everything. The therapy department made her participate even when she didn’t feel like it and that is what she needed. She really loved Rachel her therapist. Whenever I need information about her doctor appointments or what medicine she is on I can call the D.O.N Farris and she goes over everything and she is real patience. The kitchen manager even made me a lunch tray when I was there and the food was good. My mom will be here for 100 days so she will be leaving soon but if she ever need to go back i would let her go back.

Allenbrooke Nursing and Rehab facility is by far the worst nursing facility! My father arrived on 3/24 from then on it went downhill! My father is currently in the hospital with a broken nose, fractured jaw, a head injury and pneumonia. If you are considering sending your love one to this facility please avoid this place at all cost. The staff was vey callous and not to mention rude!! My siblings and I demanded answers. It’s very apparent that they stick together and collaborate stories!! This place needs to be shut down immediately!!!

Very nice facility! My grandma was there for a short stay about 21 days! She was on the second hall, everyone was kind and friendly! The nurses were very knowledgeable and seemed to be genuinely concerned with the overall health of my grandma! They called with updates and any changes in her care! The manager came and checked on us daily and always had a smile one her face! Her room was small but it had all of the necessary items she needed during her stay. They had multiple activities daily and she was able to go to quite a few! The only downside was the food! My grandma said it could’ve been better but overall we were pleased with her stay!

Allenbrooke Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was referred to us by the hospital where my cousin was, and we just took their word because a lot of things were going on at that time. I don't have anything to compare it with, but they seem to be doing just fine. It's expensive, but clean. I don't spend that much time there, but the time I was there, no one seemed to be abused or anybody screaming for help. They are very polite, too. When you walk in, there's the main office and a foyer. One side has the occupational therapy area and the laundry room. I haven't seen the dining area. His room has a bed, a TV and one small place to put your belongings. There's not much space because it's only for rehab, not for long term stay. He is in a private room, mainly because he's younger than most of the folks there. They have bingo and game nights, but he doesn't participate much. He's not able to stand up on his own yet, but they try to get his legs strong enough so he can be more mobile. The WiFi was not working the last time I was there. Maybe that's some of the comfort measures they can improve to help people stay connected.
