Rolling Green Village was excellent. It's one of the most reasonable places from a standpoint of the amenities, fees you have to pay, and what they offer. They have an interesting move-in provision. They pay $5,000 towards moving into their community. You buy the home, and then you pay amenity fees for various things that you need. For instance, they'll do outside work and other things on your property. Then when you sell your property, they refund you 80 percent of the sale of the property; they retain 20 percent of it. You can step up from independent living to assisted living, so that's a very interesting concept (plus it's a nonprofit group).
They have patio homes, like actual homes and not apartments. They got an excellent workout center, a swimming pool, and tours. They go to shows and movies. Greenville, South Carolina has an awful lot to offer too.
The staff who toured us was excellent. Their dining area was very, very professional looking, very clean, large, and in a very nice location in the main building. It was excellent all the way around. All the cottages and patio homes that they've got and offer for sale were well-kept, and the grounds were in excellent shape. It's a very attractive spot.

When we visited Rolling Green Village, they showed us a model house and we got a chance to see pretty much of the community. They have a brand new main building where the facilities are, like for eating and all of that. Since it's brand new, everything look spotless. We almost bought a house there, I was so impressed. They had the bus that would take you to the store for groceries and they had banking there on their site and a post office. They had posted activities on the bulletin board, and there were some tours and some out-of-town things.

Rolling Green Village was very clean, very neat, and the staff that I met with were wonderful. At this point in my life, the apartments were just a tad too small, and I have a large dog, so that wasn't going to work. I just did not have the chance to taste the food, but it's a great place.

Rolling Green Village was a great facility, and they're expanding. The care was great, but there were some questions on the treatments for my wife, and I couldn't get them to communicate. I don't feel good about that at all. Everything else was good. The dining area may have been too small, but they're in a major expansion, which will include a new dining room. The independent living was great, but the memory care unit left a lot to be desired. The staff tried their best. The food was good. They also had rehab there.

Rolling Green Village was developing more apartments and cottages. The apartments were connected to the dining and social halls and that's what I'm interested in. I could also bring my pet, so I would be getting an apartment on the first floor. They had a variety of apartment styles and sizes. They also had free-standing cottages and townhouse units. The whole place was very nice, and the building was very clean. I know they do bingo and church services from different denominations. One meal a day will be provided, and there's a bus that takes the seniors to local places like groceries and the theater.

The people in Rolling Green Village were hospitable and welcoming. They are very transparent with everything. They showed me three different rooms, there were also custom houses that were modified but I didn’t look at it anymore.

We had a good meal at the Rolling Green Village; it had fantastic food. The buildings were newer and had a large community of extended living, assisted care, rehab center, and independent homes. There were probably 300 independent homes in the community spread over five neighborhoods. They had a pool, physical therapy, a doctor and dentist on-site, big exercise facility, and three fishing ponds. The buy-in was also a big thing, at about $205,000 to get in.

I signed a contract and I will buy a place in Rolling Green Village. It is an independent living, and they also have an assisted living. I like it because I can live there more like I am living now. It is a single family home rather than an apartment. It is more like being in your own house. They have a wellness center there with some paid on staff and physical therapists. My main thing is I will be taken to the grocery stores, to the malls and to doctor's appointments. They also have a doctor and a nurse practitioner on staff. They take care of all your outdoor stuffs like your roof and your windows. They cut the grass. They have laundry services, and each home has their own laundry. I have my own washer & dryer. The house is a pretty good size, with two bedrooms and two baths.

My mother was at Rolling Green Village, but they did not have any rooms available in assisted living. They were excellent though. My mother was at the independent living. The concierge was wonderful. The food was very good. The staff was awesome. The Rolling Green Village will be having a memorial service for the residents that have passed there and including my mother even though she wasn’t living there at the time she passed away. They’re very nice.

My in-laws are at Rolling Green Village. The staff has been satisfactory to this point. Some of the staff is better than others, but it is fine. The rooms are adequate. They're not fancy, but they're fine for what they're being used for. They would take them out to lunch, and they do things. They play games with them like bingo, and they also have people come in and play music for them.

Rolling Green Village had lots of activities. They had independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. They provided transportation to the doctor. It was probably the most cost-effective for us. The atmosphere was very positive. The people seemed to be enjoying the place. They had a swimming pool and a gymnasium. They also had restaurant-style food.

The impression that we had with Rolling Green was excellent. The marketing person was very informed and professional. The facility is clean and beautiful. We had lunch there, which was very pleasant. People came over to us when we were in the dining room. The staff was very caring. Everyone I met seemed extremely friendly.
There was a group that was doing some exercises there. They have a swimming pool, a physical therapy room, a library, and a full activity calendar. It's a very fine facility. The rooms were beautiful. It's very pleasant. As a matter of fact, we're going to go and try there for a few days before we buy, just to get a feel of the place and see how we might fit in.

It's only been two days since my husband was brought here to the Rolling Green Rehab Center from the hospital, and already he has made great progress. Not only that, but being a fantastic cook himself and very particular about his food, he is enjoying the food that is served daily. He loved the lobster ravioli he had for dinner the other day, plus he is eating a nutritious meal each time,
something he hasn't done for quite some time, and which I feel is contributing to his rapid recovery. Also, I want to mention that Kim, one of the staff personals, always checks to make sure the food is up to par. It's unusual to find find someone who truly seems to take their job seriously, and who really cares. It's only been two days, and I will give another review after a few more days to see if it continues to impress me. If it does, I honestly feel that when the time comes, my husband and I may consider making Rolling Green our residence.

Rolling Green is very all-encompassing. They take care of any kind of problem the residents have. They have different levels of care and are all staffed with very qualified people. As of today, the facility is very appealing. It's ideal. The apartments are several different styles; they can be a studio apartment or one, two, three bedrooms, so there are many choices in what people want to suit their needs. It's very warm, the people are friendly and welcoming to new people, and they have lots of activities you could participate in, as much as you want to. They take trips, go to events, they have people who would take them for shopping, or help them go to the doctors if they need to. It just takes care of anything you need.

I am a resident of Rolling Green Village (RGV) and also well experienced in senior facilities through life. experien-
ces. I have been here 9 years and have found it to be an excellent place to live. The previous reviewer found those inside amenities not used because residents are out and busy doing things. RGV recently added an indoor exercise pool to go along with its Wellness Program (what a bonus). The staff is warm, caring and knows most residents by name. jThe food is excellent - the previous reviewer should have stayed for lunch. RGV's proximity to Greenville makes it ideal for those interested in symphony music, art museums, festivals, etc. It is a mere three hours from Charleston and just a couple to Atlanta or Charlotte. Plus---the airport is minutes from RGV. You may not live here but you should at least come see it.

I've visited Rolling Green and it seemed to be very nice. They have a beautiful library, things like a pool table and all that, but not a soul were using any of it and it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day, but there wasn't anyone on the grounds, and that bothered me. They invited me back for lunch but I refused.
