My husband is currently in the long- term care unit on the third floor. The nurses, therapists and aides as very caring and compassionate. The care they provide is exceptional and the therapists immediately got my husband a special cushion when he complained his backside bothered him. My husband is clean, his room is clean and the only thing he complains about is the food (but not all of the time). Thank you Tammy, Dave, Tim, Anita, Peter, Marybeth, Arthur, Gary, Theresa, Diane, Stacy, Ling, Jeff, Darryl and anyone I may have missed for taking good care of my husband. You are all amazing!

Please do your due diligence when thinking about putting a loved one in this facility!! I was a patient and due to the horrible conditions ( very dirty) and horrible bedside manner of most of the aides working with the patients, not to mention how rough they were when actually handling a patient; my husband removed me from the facility against doctors orders. Had my husband not removed me I might not be here today! My liver and kidneys were shutting down and I had to be taken to another hospital so they could remove all of the fluids being retained in my belly area ( I looked 15 months pregnany) I was in so much pain the pain medication wasn't working. Please, please do your research prior to putting your loved ones in here!

The only reason that people use this facility is because Medicare pays for it. It is just care. The bed side manner is the worst around. They have the rudest therapists I have ever seen. Nurses think they are doctors. It is a county hospital it is dirty the food is horrible. They charge outrageous prices fo the crap care they give.

Because this was a County facility, I was very concerned about the quality of the care and of the facility itself. The Kane Regional Facility in Scott Township, however, far exceeded my expectations. The staff was large, well-trained, and compassionate. The building was large and clean, with recreation rooms and an outdoor courtyard. The food was well prepared and nutritious. I was surprised that a government facility as this was actually better than the more expensive private facility my father had been in previously.
