Life enriching activities come alive at Legend at Tulsa Hils. Residents participate in hobbies, cultural events, educational opportunities, religious activities, and interesting trips, along with the opportunity for new experiences. New friends are made and relationships strengthened by spending enjoyable time together. Special cultural and community events are a highlight on the Legend Life Enrichment calendar.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator and the nurse create The Legend Wellness Program which may include fun exercises, activities, and health education. The Legend Wellness Program is designed to enhance the overall health and well-being of the residents.
Companion Services
You may choose additional personalized support or services through our specialized program call Legend Companions. Legend Companions spend time one-on-one with the resident providing special attention or care such as reading, shopping, letter writing, supervision, and support.

Reflections Alzheimer's and Memory Care
Dedication to Service
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or other memory impairments is a very personal, loving dedication to service. It requires service for specific and individual needs.
More often, the resident with memory loss needs assistance with life's daily activities including personal care but may not have an acute medical condition requiring around the clock skilled nursing or instruction. Finding that unique combination of physical setting and specialized care is a journey traveled by many families.
The Reflections Program
At Reflections, our trained staff works closely with family members and friends to assemble a "Life History" identifying the personal experiences of each resident's life.
Through the "Life History," we get to know the personality behind the person, fostering a one-to-one association more like "friend to friend" rather than "staff to patient." Details and events from your loved one's past become "shared" memories and experiences serving as a foundation for activities, communication, and the development of friendships built on support, understanding and mutual respect.

My parents used to stay in the Legend of Tulsa Hills for assisted living. Their grounds were very nice, it's upscale for me. My parents' room was very clean and very roomy for two people, they had a 2-bedroom. They had excellent staff and they served my parents very well. They had music, a library, physical fitness-type activities, they had a game room, and offered church service. I had one meal there and the food seemed to be good. It was very expensive, we chose to move because it was so costly.

My mom has moved into Legend of Tulsa Hills. I am very impressed with the level of training that all their various staff has, and the fact that they have ongoing training. They have a lot of programs, like physical fitness programs, and mental fitness programs. They have entertainment every day, seven days of the week. It's a small community, and all the staff knows each of the people there personally by name, develops a relationship with them, and gives them a lot of personal care.
The meals are very nice. They serve restaurant style at every meal. There are two choices of plates, and if you don't care for either of those choices, there's a standard list of things like hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads that you can get at any time. I'm very impressed with how well they've done so far. Their facilities are fantastic. Some of the activities are better than others, but I'm sure that's true anywhere.

I visited Legend of Tulsa Hills. It was a lovely facility. It was very open, friendly, and it had a nice feel. We did not go see an apartment because we were looking for a separate cottage with a garage, and they did not offer either one of those things.
The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. She even recommended another place that might have the type of facility that we are looking for.
We didn't try any meals because the facility wasn't what we wanted. We could see into the dining room from where we were, and it looked very accommodating.
The facility looked wonderful, but I didn't see the inside of the rooms.

My aunt moved into Legend of Tulsa Hills. They were just very kind to us and worked well with us in trying to get her moved in and all the ins and outs of that. They had great community events. They do a lot daily. There's a full calendar of things you can do. They had a lot of activities that I feel like my aunt will enjoy. They had cards, game nights, and movie days. They go on field trips and take them to the store. They make crafts. The food is very good. They have a lovely cook. The facility was very clean, very nice, and very updated. Every room has a pull cord so that if something happens and they need help, they can pull it. So it was just very accessible. The staff members were all very nice.

I was very impressed with the entire community of Legend at Tulsa Hills.The only issue that I saw that my friend would probably have (which she's' going to have no matter where she goes) is the apartments are small. She lives in a really nice and huge house right now, so it's going to be a big adjustment for her when she decides to do this. The apartments are small, but I think it's all she would need. They were clean and sufficient enough for seniors.
I was very, very impressed. The lady who took me on the tour was personable and caring, and I really got the impression that they want to be there for these folks that moved in.
It just so happened that I was there around lunchtime. I got to take a peek at the meal, and I was also very impressed with it. The meals were not just plain food. It looked like it was out of a restaurant. The residents were chowing down, so it was good food. I really think that would be a nice place for her. The lady also gave me a lemon pudding for dessert to take home with me and it was delicious.
They offer a lot of great activities. She even gave me a calendar that shows the activities, and I was really impressed with some of them. In fact, the lady brought to my apartment a bucket with a beach ball, a plastic shovel, and some lotion for my friend (which I thought was so sweet).

Legend at Tulsa Hills was lovely, brand new and very nicely done. The staff was very gracious to us. The only reason we didn't go there is because it's too far from where we live. The people who toured us were wonderful, and it's beautifully located. It's right across the street from a new and huge shopping system, and there's a hospital right around the corner.

My mom is doing great at Legend at Tulsa Hills. It's very impressive. It's great, wonderful, and a top-notch facility. They got gardens, a patio, a movie theater, and they play dominoes. They got a lot of stuff. The food is also good.

GREAT ! This is the place i want to be in for myself. Mom is more active and friendly since she is here. Likes the food and people. Remarkable that the price is so competitive with this quality. I am impressed. Thanks Legends for making this happen. Beth is a great agent to deal with.

When I was at Legend at Tulsa Hills, I met a lot of the different staff. I met the activity director, and there was a nurse. I loved the place, it was beautiful, but for the level of my mother's care, the long hallways would be hard for her to get around without any help. Comparing this Legend to the other Legend facilities though, it was larger. It was a two-story facility so I know my mother wouldn't want to be there, but as far as the overall place, I would give it the highest rating. As far as the way the rooms were laid out, it was a very nice facility, but as far as the help that my mother needs, I'd give it a four. If you were just moving into assisted living you'd get around pretty well, and you're still able to walk then it would probably get the highest rating. In my mother's situation though, I would have to give it a four as far as the layout goes. They are right across a big shopping area here in town, so they are accessible to restaurants and shopping. They're also not that far from the main hospital.

We are so disappointed in our experience at Legends. We thought at first we were making a good choice. Administrators changed twice while we were there. The care plan we signed up for and paid for was not carried out. My mom was not bathed or her clothes changed, we caught the staff lying about the care. Our Home Health Agency had 17 doc discussions with the care staff over the same issue, yet we were charged. we had issues with medications being issued or not issued. We met with Managers formally expressed our concerns only to have issues with the same staff members within two weeks. My Mother told two different health care providers that she was verbally abused and was afraid to stay there. Begged us not to say anything stating we were not the ones that lived there. We eye witnessed other residents being talked to in a hateful condescending way, we did report it. The food was hit and miss, never served hot. We could never get a good open communication with the staff. We heard repeatedly our Mom say she had no voice there that they were not allowed to say anything. It breaks my heart that I put her there and breaks my heart for those that have no advocate. I cannot imagine what goes on for those that truly have no one to check on them. We are a family that was there often and still experienced many things that are just not acceptable. The inability to resolve issues brought up was very disturbing. If you place anyone here just be present and attentive and listen to the one that lives there. Cosmetically it is a beautiful place but if the care sucks it isn't worth it.

Legend at Tulsa Hills is great all the way around and it's a beautiful place. The staff is very attentive to my mom. The food is excellent. They have activities every morning and afternoon, and most evenings. They have Bingo, music, movie nights, country kitchen where they try different foods, and they have a Meet The Chef day which is good. The staff seems to be very good. The cost is expensive but it's worth it.

Caring for an elderly dad from long distance can be challenging. Thanks to Paula, Tiffanie and the fine Legend staff for their excellent care! Very glad made this choice for dad.

This facility has a lot of 'fluff'. It is, as all are, very expensive. We had better care in asst section than memory section. They are understaffed most of the time and the staff spends a lot of time on their phones. Though there are some really good workers, they are few. The food is good, it is decorated nicely but what is important is the care and it is no different than anywhere else. They seem to want to help and make it better but it just doesn't seem to change. The help is a revolving door.
Don't sit in the chairs or sofas anywhere, incontinent residents soil them and they are rarely cleaned!!!

We liked Legend at Tulsa Hills. The problem that we had with them was that it was too far away from where we live. The only one-bedroom that they had available for Mom was at the back of the facility, and it wasn't as large. It would demand a lot of walking for her to go back to her apartment, and she had just had surgery for a broken hip. Those were the reasons why we didn't choose them. The person who showed us around was very accommodating and very nice.

I visited Legend of Tulsa Hills. They have a large staff, and it is one of the newer facilities. It was pretty. Some of the staff was really friendly and good. The rooms were small, but they were designed better. I checked the menu, and in fact I have eaten there, and the food was OK. It is probably in the busiest intersection in Tulsa. One of its faults is that it is across the street from the Hills Shopping Center, and it is hard to get in and out. There is a medical center right beside it, and it isn’t very far to the St. Francis Hospital or the St. John’s Hospital.

I didn’t care for Legend at Tulsa Hills at all. There was no one there to greet us, and the maintenance staff ended up giving us a tour. It seemed like it was really fancy. They had all these movie studios that looked really good and really clean, but I didn’t see any residents out and about sitting on any of the furniture. They had a little bistro and a beverage place where you can come any time and get coffee or tea. It looked really nice but not a soul was there.

Legend of Tulsa Hills is nice and has good food and a lot of activities. It's a nice facility, but the care my mom gets is off and on, though they're getting a lot better. They come and check on her periodically. The people seem really friendly and willing to help once everybody is on the same page knowing what my mom's needs are. I like that they seem to care and seem to want to fix things.

Legend at Tulsa Hills is a very beautiful place but very expensive. It was nice, and it's a place I'd like to go to. The rooms are a variety of sizes, and they have a little workout room and movie theater. It's literally set up like a hotel, and it would be like living in a 5-star hotel.

My parents live at Legend at Tulsa Hills and have been there for about 4 months now. I could not be happier!!! I looked at the facility right when it opened but I gave in to my parents desire to stay at home. After 6 months of dealing with home care agencies not showing up, stealing from my parents and just not caring for my parents I finally convinced them to move to Legend. I LOVE the nurses and care staff. I have had a lot of questions about my parents care/health and the nurse always takes time to visit with me and doesn't make me feel like I am a bother. The food is really, really good! Good food was the #1 priority to my dad. . . And he has gained 4 lbs since they moved in!!
My overall experience at Legend has been great. I just wish we would have moved earlier!

Overall, the prices were exorbitant, but Legend at Tulsa Hills was by far the nicest of the places I visited. The apartment was comparable in size to the ones that I saw; these were new, clean, and adequate. The closets were not big enough though. The staff was excellent. They had all of the activities, and it was a large facility. They had lots of seniors that gravitate towards people that are more like them. They do things together. They have arts, crafts, and different things. The dining was very nice.

My parents moved into The Legend January of last year. It’s a beautiful facility; a 2-story building, and it’s a couple of years old. However, they are understaffed. Their response time is 20 minutes. Their food was not fine dining, but processed food. They started charging us extra for food delivery, but they did not inform us. Their meds were always late and very inconsistent. I actually had to get caregivers to take care of my parents.

My husband was at Legend at Tulsa Hills, and it was a mistake. They mis-assessed him. The facility was manicured, it was beautiful, and I thought it was like a cruise ship and that my husband would love this place. They said he would be fine in assisted living and that he didn't need the Alzheimer's unit, so he moved into the ALF, and he stayed there 15 days. However, he was not getting care. He was just lost. I was getting there as soon as I could after work, because nobody was taking care of him. It was not good care at all. I'm satisfied now because I finally got to the CEO and they refunded my money, but people just ignored me. I was not pleased with it.
What I like best about this place was how it looked. It was brand new, it was clean, and they had nice amenities. They also had an activities director, although they ignored my husband because they didn't think he was up to par. So if you don't need support, it is a great place to be.

Legend at Tulsa Hills was a lovely place. It was very nice and very attractive. The staff was cooperative. The apartments were average in size. The dining area was very nice. It was new, so everything looked good. It was upscale.

My mom is a resident at Legends. The first impression was very good but after she moved in last Aug. things didn't continue to work out so well. My sisters and I really had to stay on top of everything before the staff finally got a clue as to how to take care of our mom. Now that she's been there for 6 months things are finally going smoothly. The main issue we have right now is the food. Not exactly healthy eating. My mom's been in the hospital 3 times already for water retention. The nurse and staff are very good though and the activities director is super. I did find out that corporate dictates the menu which I think is rediculous. When the chef made Thanksgiving dinner it was fabulous.

The Legend is brand new and clean, and the people seem nice. The rooms are really thought out well -- the ones they’ve laid out. On the whole, it’s quite nice. The people who lived there were nice. They had a Christmas party that was quite nice, and we participated in that.

This is a beautiful place that offered several floor plan options for our loved one. It's bright, clean and offers very good food and kind caregivers. That being said, the negatives right now I feel are on the weekends there aren't really any higher level management/staff there and the care level goes down considerably. They are new and have had some growing pains and sometimes I feel they expect your loved one to be much more independent than is first presented by the lovely sales lady. This is not a bad place by any means, I believe there are some really good and caring staff but if you're thinking about moving your loved one here be sure to ask a lot of questions and ask about the additional costs for higher "levels of care" and what that really looks like. Our original costs that were presented to us went up considerably after the "evaluated" our family member. Legend is a nice place but you will need to be involved and stay on top of things, at least a first.

We had an apartment reserved for mother at Legend at Tulsa before her health took a turn for the worse. If her health was better, it would’ve been a very nice place for her. It’s a very nice, brand new facility. I was treated by the staff very warmly, and they’re very caring and were preparing for mom’s arrival there even though she didn’t make it. We had already put our deposit down there when we realized that and when the doctor said that my mom isn’t a candidate for assisted living anymore. They very graciously said notto worry because our deposit will be refunded, and it came very quickly. They had a lot more activities, interests and things, but mother never made it there for us to participate in those. There are nice sitting areas inside, movie rooms, and they had a nice landscaping. I’ve really enjoyed visiting there. They’re very homey, inviting, and very clean.
