Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was great. I had a lovely time. Everybody was very personable. I enjoyed the facility. I liked it. I hope that that is somewhere that my mom would decide to go. If I would have had my grandmother in a place like Village on the Park, she would have still been alive today. That's how impressed I am with that facility. The staff during the tour was great. Everybody there loved her. She was very informative, very patient, and very inviting. They have little apartments. They also have cottages (it's like a duplex with a garage on it). From independent living, you could go over to assisted living.

Village on the Park - Oklahoma City was nice and seemed like a good place to live. It has easy access to things, and there are a lot of activities and stuff they provide. The girl I met was the activity director. She was very pleasant, very knowledgeable, and very nice. They had one-bedroom, one bath apartments with a patio and without one. They have a library and a place where they eat and do other activities like bingo. They would also have a church service out in a big area in the hallways.

I'm living in one of the cottages of Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. It's been fine. I'm satisfied. I have not had any problems. Three meals a day are included, also they provide a free shuttle service for doctors' appointments. The food is nourishing, but it's bland. There's something going on from morning till evening, every day of the week.

My sister is at Village on the Park Oklahoma City, and she'll be there one year in March. Her overall experience is very positive. She has improved while being there because she did suffer from some degree of dementia. Her room is a place I wouldn't mind living in. They do an excellent job and have their own people that take care of everything. It's like a fine dining experience when I go to eat with her, they have chefs preparing the food and it's delicious. They have daily exercise, dances, and mental exercise programs going on during the day all over the facility. It's just a wonderful place to be. It's laid out in a lengthy fashion, kind of like a very long building. The apartment wings go off of that long hallway, so they get their exercise by going to the cafeteria and going to the activities and the dances and the live music performances that they have coming in weekly. They keep them very well engaged. You don't even have to leave there unless you have a doctor's appointment, or you have something going on with family or whatever because they supply all the meals. They have someone on staff to even do errands for people. It's just wonderful.

I did a tour of Village on the Park -Oklahoma City. If someone were to want more of a private living, or not quite ready to go in where they were completely inside of a facility, I liked the cottages. The fact that you could still be a part of it, where you could go in and eat if you wanted, take part in activities, or you could still stay in your home. You could still have that facility and then gradually work into it. I did like the independent living; I didn't tour any of the assisted living or memory care. Everyone was very friendly. I've been in the facility quite a lot over the years since I've lived here with my kids. When they were Girl Scouts, we would go and sing Christmas carols and things like that. Everything was contained there. It wasn't a nursing home, but someone that wasn't quite ready to be inside the facility, the independent living was still enough where they were so separate, as well as they could participate in activities. I looked at the cottages, as well as the independent part of it, which were like apartments. I liked the fact that it had a little patio, and they allowed you to put up a little fence. It's important because if he does this, he can take his dog; that would allow him to do that. You can't take them out in the facility and walk around among the other guests, but you have to have one of the units that have a patio, and then you can take them out in the open grounds outside and leave them that way. They are allowed to have them in their apartments, but in assisted living, they were not. Everything I saw seemed clean and organized. The lady that gave the tour knew the names of everybody that was walking down the hall, it was very personal. She did offer for us to try the food, but it wasn't a time where I could do it. She did say that I could come back and bring my father or myself and have lunch or dinner, but I just haven't had the occasion to do that with him.

I have moved into the Village on the Park-Oklahoma City. They have excellent care, good facilities, and the food is good. The staff is excellent. All I've used so far has been the exercise room. They also have laundry and a series of activities that you can participate each day. They have an outdoor area. They have gardening clubs, and a number of activities that I haven't participated in yet (will be participating in the future). Even though they got damaged with a tree falling on the roof during the last ice storm, everything has been excellent.

We toured the facility and had a meal. Everything and everybody was much more than we expected. We are not yet ready to move, but this is where we plan to go to when we do.

I toured Village on the Park - Oklahoma City. I liked the way it was. They had cottages with garages, and I liked that. The room was nice and I liked the way it was laid out. I liked the amenities, too. I liked everything about it.

I could describe the rooms, etc., but none would mean as much to our family as did the care the staff gave to him. They loved our dad and embraced our family. For that, we will always be grateful.

Village on the Park's staff was super and very nice. The freedom you have there is what I like. You can eat anytime from 7:00 in the morning to 6:30 at night, and that impressed me. They have exercise equipment and they give you certain days when they can help you with that. They have a lot of amenities that are available to people. They keep the place clean and it smelled good. They make you feel really at home.

The cottage in Village on the Park is small, but it has a garage, they're pet friendly, and the activities were more what I would be more involved in. I'm more into sewing and bible studies, and that's the thing I liked about the Village. Cleanliness was very good, and they have a good dining room, but you either have to drive around to it or you walk to it, and I have a hard time walking. They take you to doctors around the community, and they provide a lot of good services.

I was very impressed with Village on the Park at Oklahoma City. The atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. In fact, there was a lady there whom I used to work with, and she was wonderful. I wanted to live there. The rooms were adequate. They were small, but I understood they were going to be small. They would change the carpet every time there was a change of resident, so I was very impressed with that. I thought the rooms were nice. Everything was perfect, other than that it didn't have storm shelters. That's huge in Oklahoma City, especially South Oklahoma City.

Village on the Park was very nice. It was an older facility, but it was very nice. The staff was nice and friendly, though we did not see many. Most of residents had Alzheimer’s, some were in wheelchairs and some had walkers and some did not. They seemed to be content there as far as the people could be content.

We choose Village on the Park because my parents decide that's what they want. They have the independent living, the memory care, and the assisted living all in one place. The community is very nice, and my parents like it. It is clean, and the people are friendly. They actually have cottages there, and they are of a nice size. They take trips to casinos, and they have trips to the grocery stores, to medications, and toappointments. They also have a garage in the condos so you can have a car if you need to.

Village on the Park was a beautiful facility, and there was a big park right across the street from it, so that is where it gets its name. They have patio type homes; it's a very nice facility. They have lots of things for people to do, limousine service two or three days a week to different things that they took people to, one or two bedrooms, and facilities for the family. If you are a resident and you have family coming in, they have free rooms for the family. They have laundry facilities and lots of planned activities, and I was very impressed by it.

I chose Village on the Park for my dad because of its size, layout, and because it was bright. Their activities are beyond exceptional. The staff working there are very good. They have a good interaction with my dad, attending to his needs and seem to be respectful of him. They have two choices to choose from for their food. I liked their chairs, it was easy to get in to and they have rollers.
