My mother lives at Lionwood. It is the best choice we could have made. From my first encounter with the Marketing Manager, Arienne and the Facility manager, Polly, I was made to feel comfortable and welcome. They patiently took the time to answer all of my questions. I was given a packet full of information, resources and photos to review with my mother. This is no sad, dismal nursing home. It is a vibrant living community of elders. There is always some social activity, game, festivity, or excursion going on for the residents. It reminds me of a cruise ship or an all inclusive resort. There’s a beauty salon, little movie theater, small store, library, and computer center, Wifi and Cable TV.The dining room offers a nice variety of meals from which to choose. The waitstaff is kind and friendly.Management and staff are considerate. If they don’t see you out and about in the building, they will come to your apartment to be sure you are okay. There is a home health agency located in the building for convenience but you can continue with your own heath care professionals if you prefer. They will provide transportation to shopping and doctors appointments. When my mother moved in they had a party and invited her friends to attend. It was a lovely housewarming gift. They try to nurture a friendly and neighborly atmosphere. They even assigned another resident to be an ambassador for my Mom to help her get settled in and learn her way around Lionwood.I wouldn’t mind living there myself.I honestly feel that Mom’s life and health have been improved since she moved in.She has a lovely apartment, filled with her furniture, decorations and plaques. It is a safe environment that allows her to keep her independence. When family and friends came to “check out the new place” they all left satisfied with the choice. No place is perfect but Lionwood comes pretty close.

We were very impressed with Lionwood’s facilities & the staff we met. Residents were eager to share their enjoyment of the amenities. We did not sample the food, but the choices were tempting. My brother developed a need for assisted living services, so we must look elsewhere for a home for him. Otherwise this would have been our first choice.

Lionwood Senior Living was very nice and clean. They had a nice dining area, workout area, craft area, and a big theater area. I just don't need all of that as of yet, but it was good to check it out and see what's out there. The staff was very friendly and very nice. She showed me a unit that had two bedrooms, which was what I was interested in.

My uncle moved into Lionwood Senior Living. It seems very homey. They had a lot of activities going on. The people we met were very nice. Everybody's been very helpful. I saw a pool table, and they played cards. They provide three meals a day and even snacks. I like the idea that my uncle could go and get a snack whenever he wanted. It has only been a couple of weeks, but it's been great so far. I saw an exercise room. They have a barbershop and a movie room.

I had an in-person tour of Lionwood Senior Living. The people, residents, and the people who were in the office were friendly. My father knew a couple of people there, and he had visited some people there before, so he chose and liked it. The director was nice, everybody was nice, and it fit his needs. It didn't smell; it was clean. It was only two floors, up and down. They have a covered area, and there was an area for them to walk. It wasn't a big area, just enough for them to walk. They have a theater room, an activity room, and a crafts room. I liked that they have services every Sunday and have Bible study.

I went to see Lionwood in Oklahoma City. It's an independent living and it was very nice. The facility and the apartments were very nice. The staff is very helpful. The place just seemed open, friendly, and airy. It was a very nice facility. We saw exercise rooms and dining areas. They gave us a folder of things that had rooms, floor plans, a sample menu, and a listing of their activities. It was a very nice packet. The immediate neighborhood was fine but I did not like the extended neighborhood very well. The location is okay. I thought it was very nice and everybody seemed fine. My sister was not as impressed as I was.

I think that Lionwood Senior Living was well done. The people were very nice, and it seemed to me like the residents knew each other. The ones I saw were seemingly treated well and happy to be there. It was the middle of the road in terms of appearance as you walk in. It was clean. There's a dining room where you come in, and you sign in, and you're seated. And I thought that was a good plan for them. The two people I met and had any conversation with were very, very complete in their explanation of how things work, what they can do, and what they can make payments for as far as upgrading the rooms or repair. They represented the place well and clearly. We went into different floor plans and they were very complete in their explanation of how things work. The layout and facade appear to be very good, but the traffic in Pennsylvania could be a problem if you're still driving. When getting in and out, it's a busy street.

My mother stayed in the Lionwood Senior Living before. We absolutely loved the community and what it had to offer. It was a wonderful experience. It was very clean, it smelled nice, it looked nice, it had fabulous amenities, the food was really good, and we actually dined there. They had a general store, a beauty salon, and lots of great activities that the residents could engage in. They had some great people that came in, interesting activities, and they did field trips and the whole thing. It was wonderful. It was an excellent value for the price.

My mother lived at Lionwood for 2 ½ years. During that time she was able to grieve our father’s death and blossom as an individual. She developed loving friendships and became a caring friend to many of the residents. During the last six months of her life, she was in and out of hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. The Lionwood staff was loving and supportive to her throughout that time. I will always be grateful that she loved her home at Lionwood, and that the staff lovingly cared for her before she entered her eternal heavenly home.

I moved to Lionwood on May 31, 2016. I have experienced nothing but heaven on earth! I am most excited about the three meals a day, housekeeping, and all bills being paid. The staff has been exceptionally helpful, compassionate, and caring. On a scale of 1-10, I rate them "10". I have been telling all of my family and friends about Lionwood. If you're looking for a home., look no further! I love the experience that I am having as a resident of Lionwood Senior Living. Less I forget, the activites and social life is extremely fun and exciting.

Lionwood Senior Living is very active; people there have been there for a long time, and they loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and they redid everything before my mother-in-law moved in. The food is very good, and she likes it. There are activities every day and a variety of things to do, and they take them out. The people there are very happy, been there for a long period of time, and have no complaints. Everybody seems to be getting along and are friendly.

I went to visit a friend who just moved into Lionwood and much to my surprise I was very impressed. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting it to be so wonderful. Everything was beautiful and my friend is very happy there.

We had a tour at Lionwood Senior Living, and it was nice. It has a good location with rooms that are a little bigger compared to other facilities we've visited. They do provide transportation and also have different activities for the residents.
