My mother is currently in Brookdale Chickasha. She wants to go home, but she's doing OK there. She's in quarantine right now, so she's not getting out. They are all very friendly and nice. The staff talks to me. She gets her meals, and she'll have activities once she gets out of quarantine. It's very clean and very nice. I know they have a beauty shop, but I'm not real sure what all they got.

The lighting at Brookdale Chickasha was pretty dark, and there didn't seem to be much activity. A lot of people were just sitting around in the seated areas, not really visiting or talking. There was nothing happening. The rooms were adequate with the standard kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom, and closet. I did not see a list of activities and I did not see anyone doing activities. The dining area was upfront as you walk in the door, and everything was just really dark. It's not well lit at all, and it wasn't inviting.

My father moved into Brookdale Chickasha. So far I have no complaints, they're great. It's really nice, they have a courtyard that you can't get out of, but it's really nice, they can go outside, without getting out of the facility. The staff is wonderful, they have activities pretty much every day, like bingo, but he does not take advantage of it all the time, since he tends to like his TV. They have gardening in their little courtyard, and they have parties all the time.

My mom moved in to Brookdale Chickasha in the first week of February. They're very good and they help her mainly with medical management. They dispose all her medication at the right time and make sure she's getting what she needs. Their main nurse, April, is excellent, and Larry who's in charge of medication is excellent. They staff I've dealt with have all been polite, very professional and caring. My mom enjoys the food. The place is very clean and always well-maintained. It's a secured access facility so you can't get in and out without a code, and so they have a courtyard in the middle because it's a squared facility. I just wish they had a bigger outside area though. I also wish my mom's room were a little bit bigger. They have varied activities Monday through Friday, and several church services on Sunday, so they seem to have something going on.

My mom has been in Brookdale Chickasha for about a month now. It's very nice. We are pleased with it. The staff members are very nice and very friendly. The residents are very friendly, too. It doesn't feel like a nursing home; it's very nice. There are a lot of people in there with Alzheimer's. They can have their own apartment, but they have nurses who come by every hour on the hour. They get them for lunch and bring them to the cafeteria. They have a garden club and play memory games in the morning. They had dinner last Friday for everybody's birthday this month and invited all the family members, which was very nice.

Mom moved into Sterling house last February. It is a very nice place. It look smaller, efficient, and there's never any odor that shouldn't be there. They have a lot of things on their calendar for the people to do, but around 10 of them don't ever happen. So my mother is a little disappointed with that. But the people have all been very friendly, very informative, and nice. There's one lady over there in housekeeping who's very nice. My mother can't pull the covers when making her bed. This lady would come in and tell her it's time for breakfast. And when my mom gets dressed, she makes the bed. Their rooms are very nice. They're small and not like you will have in your home. The living and kitchen areas are small, but it's really nice. The food has been really good. What I liked about it mostly was there was a call button in every area. There's one in the living room, the bedroom, bathroom, so no matter where you are, if you have trouble, you just reach out and pull your bell. And they answer you immediately.
