I went on a Saturday in Glenhaven. The main people were not there, but one of the ladies showed me around and showed me everything. She was nice. She showed me two different rooms. It had a big living area, but the bedroom was much smaller and so was the closet.
They only had one call bell in their room, and you have to be able to tell them who you were and what room you were in. The only thing was that you can just walk into the place. In other facilities, you have to punch in a code to get in, which was nice because people just can't walk in off the street. But in Glen Haven, you just walk in.

We decided on Glenhaven Retirement Village for my parents because it is in a location where my parents live and because they know people that live there. It is in a nice area. The building itself seems to be in good condition. Their people seem nice as well. They offer both assisted living and skilled nursing. Of course my parents prefer to be at their own home, but they seem to be doing fine there. In the assisted living, they have good activities for the residents and they seem to enjoy doing those things. I would recommend this place to others.
