My dad will be moving into Cherry Blossom Senior Living. Hayley, the lady that I spoke with, was very thorough, kind, and helpful. She answered all my questions. Amanda came to do my dad's assessment today, and she was very helpful. The rooms look like luxury apartments. They are handicapped-accessible and a good size. Their dining area was restaurant-style, and I liked it. The grounds were very well manicured. They had some ladies playing bridge, and then they had some gentlemen playing chess. They have a men's group, and they do outings, so I'm really looking forward to my father being able to participate in some type of social life. What I liked most about it was the size, smell, look, and people. Everybody there was very friendly, even the residents, which was really important to me. The residents were smiling.

We visited Cherry Blossom and I wish now we would have taken that step with them instead of the one we took with my sister's current facility, because Cherry Blossom is a one-story building. We could have possibly looked through the window at her and said hello. My sister thinks we just left her because we can't visit her in her current facility. They showed us rooms when we visited. The rooms were great. The whole complex was just as good as I thought in another facility, and I expected a little bit better I think. We looked at the assisted living because my sister is well enough that she doesn't have to go into memory care. That's what everybody thinks, that she's well enough not to go to memory care, so that's why she didn't actually go in there. We've seen the rooms. They were very nice. We've also seen the dining room, the bistro, the exercise room, and the salon.

My mother is in Cherry Blossom Senior Living. They have an activity room where you can do things if you want to. There's a nurse on-duty 24 hours a day, a doctor comes twice a week, and all the aides and the ladies that take care of her are very friendly, very kind, and they give her hugs. It's an excellent, pleasant place. It's new, it smells new, and it's fresh. It's just a beautiful facility. The food is excellent. They have real meals, tablecloths, and even when they bring her food, it's on a tray with a linen tablecloth; they even have little teapots and teacups. The food service is also excellent.
