Our experience with Dry Harbor is better than great. Especially the Finance/Business Office Abe is exceptional, reliable and extremely helpful. When my dad was staying at Dry Harbor Abe helped and assisted my dad with getting Medicare. Later on Abe helped my dad with switching back to Blue Cross insurance. We do appreciate all of Abe's help and assistance. Abe is the best!!!!! Many Thanks to Abe!

I love Dry Harbor Rehab Center!!!! I have never received such attention, compassion, caring, and love than I have at Dry Harbor. I was torn about leaving, particularly my girls Maria, Stephanie, Paulina, Marie-Nursing Supervisor, Teresita-Social Worker, Sonia, Anne Marie, Jovan, and all the fabulous men and women I met there. They ALL took care of me because it was the right thing to do, not because they had to. What a tribute to them!!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL AND HOPE TO VISIT YOU WHEN i GET BACK ON MY FEET AGAIN. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, AND i KNOW HE HAS AND WILL 1000-FOLD.

So far, I like the Dry Harbor Nursing Home. My mom has been there for almost 2 weeks now. I like the way they take care of things there. They are very, very nice people. My mom likes it more here than the one that she was at. They do physical therapy and they get all the stuff that the residents could do like crafts and things like that. They do the rapid test when you go in, that's the first thing they do. You also have to wear a mask, there are hand sanitizers, and they come into the residents' rooms to wipe it down a couple of times.

My mom has been in Dry Harbor for almost a year and I have seen the care provided to my mom by the 7th Floor staff. Staff are attentive to my mom's needs and the nurses are very accommodating if I have any concerns. I am able to sleep at night knowing that my mom is okay.

I came to Dry Harbor to undergo rehabilitation after leg surgery. My first impression was that they are very careful about Covid. Though vaccinated, I was tested nonetheless for Covid upon my arrival. Masks are mandatory. For visitors too. Visitors are limited to a maximum of 30 minutes in isolated areas away from other patients. Staff is tested for Covid twice a week. The facility is clean. The food is very good, kosher and nutritionally balanced. The staff is attentive and helpful. Many of them have been employed here for many years. It is a tribute to the management who apparently treat their employees fairly. Best of all, whereas I could hardly stand upon my arrival, 5 weeks later, upon leaving, I can stand and walk (not normally yet) thanks to their physical therapy and occupational therapy staff. For all these reasons, Dry Harbor gets 5 stars out of 5.

My sister was here and have to say we are thrilled with the care and support she received while staying at Dry Harbor Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. The rooms were great - the staff were amazing - always popping in to see what she needed or if she was ok. They were always there with her medictaion. Whenever we wanted to find one of them or call them to see her, they came within a minute or two. The meals were great and helped her gain her strength back. Was a great atmosphere for getting her strength and spirits back. Last few years have been tough for her with a couple of illnesses and then her husband passed. This was just she thing she needed in order to get back on her feet for her next phase of her life. She understands that she won't have the mobility that she once do, but at 80 who does. She's quite competitive and enjoyed playing games against some of the other people who were staying there. She didn't win every time but it's hard when you're up against some former English professors and they seem to know just about every 7-letter word in the English language. She also liked doing phyiostheraphy and getting greater use of her muscles and limbs this way. Really can't thank the home enough for all they did.

My father-in-law spent the last few years of his life at Dry Harbor. We have good memories of the place. He was well looked after, physically and socially.

Not easy seein your neighbour get sick and then go off for a few months. I lasted about one and then went to visit Mary at Dry Harbor. Not family but seemed the neighbourly thing to do. Facitlities were really good, clean and a positive atmosphere. 2 months later Mary was back home, fully recovered and rested.

My uncle Jack needed some rehabilitation after falling in the shower! He was well cared for and we felt the treatment to be professional and personal.

Dry Harbor Nursing Home is an older community. I didn't really like the color scheme; it's beige and brown and not very exciting. I saw the rehab area where they lived. Everybody was kind of bunched up in a room and it looked kind of boring. One of the rooms I saw where the patients lived looked like a hospital room, so I didn't like it. The staff treated me well during my tour, the nurse supervisor showed me around and answered my questions. Aside from physical therapy, they also had a recreation room. There's entertainment on the weekends and there's a TV in the patients' room, but it didn't look like they had too much going on.

I checked out several options for the rehabilitation of my father-in-law after having hip replacement surgery. The staff were great as was the care given. Maurice, my father-in-law made a swift and long lasting recovery with almost total movement recovery, (he's 78!) Recommended.

Had a lovely experience at Dry Harbor. They have a great program. The staff was extremely friendly, explained everything and made sure I was taken care of. Food was good and it was clean and tidy. Had a great time. Thoroughly recommend it.

Nurses and Physical therapist are wonderful according to my dad, who was transfered here after his brain surgery. But this particular staff from environmental service was so rude and mean to the residents while she is cleaning their room. This is the only reason why my dad wants to just go. I hope the management could look into this, because she should not be the only reason why the residents would not feel completely safe in this environment. The residents deserved respect and should be theated fairly because they are still sick. They are not completely healed otherwise they won't be there anymore. So please do not aggravate this elderly sick people. Thank you.

My husband is going to rehab at Dry Harbor Nursing Home for over a month now. I've been there a few times. I live close to it, so I picked that one. I don't have any problems there. It's still a nursing home regardless. The rehab is good, that's why he's there, and everybody seems fine. It's a good place and it's decent. If there's something wrong, they call a doctor. There are doctors there, but not all the time, and they have nurses there as well. Under the circumstances, they really do great. It's hard sometimes if they're a little shorthanded and they're very busy, but I have no problem with them. They're pretty good. The rooms are good because I get a private room and I pay a little extra for it. The food is good -- it's never going to be like home, but it's good and they try and balance the meal. It works for me, it's close to my home, and I know everybody there by now because I've been in and out a few times. They always have something going on or something downstairs, and they really do try, but it's not for everybody.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS FACILITY!!!!!! They are extremley short staffed. The medical care is MEDIOCRE. It's not at all what I expected a Rehab center to be. I sent my aunt here recommended by her treating physician. (82, broke her femur, had surgery, lives alone). IF I DONT SPEAK UP FOR HER THINGS DONT GET DONE! (Imagine the patients that don't have family) PT she says is ok. But could be better. She's in the rehab side, but treatment is as if she was bound to stay there. She's in a wheel chair all day, looking at TV in a Dinning room. No MD follow ups at the facility. SHE WASNT ON THE LIST FOR DINNER TODAY AND THEY SCRAPPED UP A MEAL, only because my mom said something. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS. Giving 1 star wishing I could give 0

I am currently reviewing all of the options for my great aunt's care, and as part of my research, I recently visited Dry Harbor Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. While it is a bit farther from my New Jersey home than I'd like, I was very impressed with the facilities. The staff was courteous, everything was clean and sanitary, and the residents seemed to be very happy. The fact that I'm still considering it despite the distance should tell you all you need to know about my impressions of the business.

Dry Harbor is so much better than the other facilities we saw in the research stage. First of all, they are not a chain - they actually focus on the care of their patients / clients. Despite having 360 beds, they have get processes in place to make sure every resident gets their fair share of attention. I think the thing that shocked me the most is that the food served there was actually good! That was a very pleasant surprise. The only downside is the elevator which could use replacing.

This is the worst nursing home. My mother has been there 2 months. I have called the social worked repeatedly. Ms. Sanchez. She never calls me back. Food is awful. Staff is rude and unprofessional. A kennel would be a better choice.

Do not send ur love ones here. The staff is lazy and unprofessional. The social workers r only in it for the money. My dad stayed there for three months and was put on several sort of medication that decreased his mobility. The doctors there just medicate the residents like zombies so everyone can stand around talking. WORK PLACE EVER!!!! Wish I could give a zero...

Overall, Dry Harbor Nursing Home is one of the better facilities that I have visited. The building is extremely clean and neat. The residents' rooms contained many items of state of the art medical equipment. In addition, the decor was much more welcoming than in some other places I have seen. There is a very large staff, and all members of the staff are qualified, friendly, and have an excellent rapport with the residents. The staff goes to great lengths to make the residents feel at home. They even offer large dinners on holidays so that the residents can still play host to their loved ones! This place was great!

This place was very nice. Everything was very clean and there was a nice smell in the air. The staff was very helpful to me, telling me about the patients, who to stay away from and who would benefit the most from talking to me. The people who are housed here are also very nice, except for a few who are not all there mentally, however these people are few and far between. It was a very nice place to visit and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

This was one of the worst places that I have ever been too. When I entered the facility there was no one at the front desk and when someone did appear there was yelling involved. There are four elevators and every time that we went there they had only two working. The food was bad we saw feces on the floor and when I was in the dinning room there was not enough staff. I also found some of the staff very rude and not caring. The good points the pt was great and caring ,and the volunteers were pleantiful and nice
