Excellent facility the rooms are spacious and kept spotless by their hardworking staff. The Rehab facility is fully equipped with the lastest state of the art equipment. The Physical and Occupational Therapy staff are well trained, friendly and professional they demand the most out of you. I would highly recommend Ditmas Park for all of your rehabilitation needs!

A close family member had two extended stays in Ditmas Park, after a stroke and a follow-on seizure.
I and he were very pleased with the staff and facilities, including the administrative personnel, the nursing staff and doctors, as well as the physical rehab professionals. They combined to make a difficult experience as positive as possible.
The facility itself is well maintained and soothing.
I highly recommend Ditmas Park!

We were very satisfied with the care that was provided to my grandmother while she stayed at Ditmas Park. The administrator and staff were all attentive to our needs and were very communicative with us. All around they were a pleasure to deal with and we hugely recommend the facility.

My husband is moving out of Ditmas Park Care Center today; he's done with his rehab. He's been there since March of this year. We're very pleased that he's doing much better than when he came in. So far, it's been positive. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, and they were concerned about everyone. They're doing renovations, so the facility is beautiful. He has a very large room. They have a dialysis center, and they said they're also going to have a pediatric rehabilitation center. We like the size of his room, it's sunny, and it's bright. It's also very clean. They took care of my husband every day. Some places, unfortunately, have an aroma all the time, but Ditmas does not have that.

I would recommend this facility, the staff is wonderful and look after all your needs, facility is very well kept and it’s clean, I give them 5 star,
I love all the staff nurses Theropist cnas therefore I will not mention names.

Unfortunately the patient needed to benefit from your DIALYSIS center, it’s definitely state of the art.
Yocheved the social worker, your exceptional devotion in this difficult times with your caring heart is greatly admired.
Lorenzo, with a nurse like you, your medical assistance combined with understanding will always be fondly remembered.

Physical therapy is one of the best thing in the facility. They are very caring and concern about the patients. Interaction with staff I'd good. My dad enjoy hearing music.

My father is a patient at Ditmas Park, he has been treated well. The staff has been very understanding. During this time with COVID-19 there have been visitation restrictions and Ditmas Park made arrangements so I could FaceTime my father daily. The staff also know that I am very involved and call all the time for updates on my dad.

Because of the pandemic of Covid-19, i am unable to visit the facility but i trust in the manner in which my father is being treated and cared for. I receive daily updates of my father's conditions and progress. Also, when the time permits, a FaceTime is scheduled to see and speak to him.

My review is for the online visitor program that they have set up. I find this to be a great program where as I can visit my loved one without having to physically be there. Since I live out of state this offers a great opportunity to visit virtually. I hope that the program can be expanded to offer more time.

I live in NC and unable to visit my dad. But thanks to having the option to skype with him has been amazing! Excellent job of keeping families in touch! A+++ service and the staff members I have dealt with have been patient, considerate and most helpful in arranging our skype visits! Extra special thanks to Craig!

my father been a resident going on 4 years now and honestly I felt nervous leaving him there because who really wants to see a family member in a nursing home, but as time went by I l've seen how the nurses, the staff members treat my father with such patience and care. There's certain staff members that goes beyond for my dad. They would care for him as if he were their own family member which I love.. Even though the building been under renovation, you will notice how clean the facility is....during this pandemic the facility arranges video calls for family members and I tell you this is the best thing that could happen...the person in charge is so kind n patient and goes out his way to make sure an appt is set up for me n my family to talk to my dad....hes amazing!!! I really cant speak on the activities because my likes to stay in bed or sit by the nurses station to flirt with the staff...that's his speech therapy lol...Him being at ditmas park center has been a big stress reliever!!!!

A few months ago, I went to the hospital for surgery and decided that Ditmas Park Care Center would be my choice for my post-procedure rehab. The rehab program that the therapists customized for me is enjoyable yet thorough. I'm always motivated to get to my sessions on time because all of the therapists make my day! While we are working together, I always feel ambitious about meeting my personal rehab goals designed for me by my therapists. I am looking forward to walking unassisted again so I can continue doing the things that I love most such as visiting the local senior center, walking my Pomeranian named ”Sugar", and even visiting my favorite casino! I have recently progressed to using a walker, and I am getting closer and closer to achieving my objective. Thank you very much to everyone at Ditmas Park Rehab & Care Center for all of your kindness and diligence! Keep up the good work!!

Ditmas Park Rehab or as the people here say "Ditmas", is a great facility. My family member was here over the last few months and we are all very happy. Rehab: The rehab downstairs is unbelievable. The therapists are patient and understanding. The progress my loved one made was honestly not in our slightest dreams. Nurses: The nursing staff are top - notch. Medications are given on time and with a smile. Meals: The food here is actually quite good. We are always offered complimentary guest trays when we come visit. As much as people think that all rehab center/hospital food tastes the same, this doesn't. Administration/Social Workers: Very accessible. The administrator and his assistant do daily rounds and have a good grip over what goes on on every floor. There is a lot of construction going on because they are expanding into a brand new facility with other services. Don't let that turn you away. We are really happy with the care here and would recommend this to everyone!!

I am a relative of a former resident of Ditmas Park Nursing Home. The administration there leaves a lot to be desired. They make excuses for their non caring staff. They supervisor of social work shows no compassion towards family members. If the administration and supervisors are such poor examples of how to provide compassion, what do you expect to receive from the line staff. Do not send your love one to this nursing home.

This is a horrible nursing home. They almost killed my sister. I personally witness the staff leave my sister wet laying in her urine and feces after I had spoke to the Assistant Director about the quality of care she was receiving. My sister was so dehydrated until she had to return to the hospital. She had black stool, throwing up and a bad head ache. She was to receive 2-3 bags of intravenous fluid a day. From March 14 to March 21 they never give her he fluids she became very dehydrated . The staff is only there for a pay check they are not concerned about the quality of care the patients receive, I have no problem telling people what happen to my sister because it is the truth and we have medical records to back up what I am saying. Be aware before you send your love ones there. They may not make it out a live.

Recently management made a decision to move around CNAs to different floors. It has made the residents very unhappy as they have grown familiar, and developed relationships with the staff. It is very unsettling for the residents

My father was in rehab at Ditmas Park Care Center is good. However, my mother had problems with the nurses’ aides, they were short staffed, and a lot complained of too much work. My father would have to wait during change of shift to get things done. They need more aide there. The rooms were fine, but I think it could have been updated in terms of the lighting and décor.

Right now, my Father is in a nursing home in Ditmas Park Rehab Care Center. He's been there about 3 weeks now. We personally chose this nursing home. Anyway, it's only temporary. I must say the staff treats my father very good. He's well taken care of. It's a very clean facility and has a home-like feeling. It's nicely decorated. With regards to the food I must say he's eating properly. It's a very nice facility. They have a residents� sitting room wherein they have events going on every day. They have some entertainment and activities for the residents which is good. I will recommend them to others.
