No medications on time. No help to be found. Rooms filthy. Rude and clueless staff. Gross tasting food. Just leave family in bed all day.

I was there for 6 weeks and the staff was amazing. Their care went beyond my expectations. I hope never to need their services again but would not hesitate to go back if needed them again.

Many of the staff are just there for a paycheck! The food is horrible, the residents are given their meds whenever the staff gets around to it, they wait hours to go to the bathroom…just deplorable. How this place is paid is beyond me. If I had another option, I would take it. Working on it now. LTCO and DOH have been alerted to the inhumane treatment. Disgusting!

My father-in-law is in CareOne at East Brunswick. He needed rehabilitation, and we know they can help him financially because the expense has been covered by Medicare. They're very good. So far, we're very pleased with the care that he's getting there. They do rehabilitation and then long-term care. He's getting stronger, but he's still undergoing therapy. He says the food is pretty good. The facility is pretty good as well. I have not been inside the facility, but I've seen a little bit of the inside of it. It's hard to say when you can't go in because of the pandemic, but with a little bit I've seen, it's well maintained. It could be updated, but it's not bad at all.

My dad was here for rehab and we had such a pleasant experience. The rehab department was so on top of things and kept me involved the whole time.

So where do I get started.. I had got my mom into this facility after being released from RWJ. I heard it was the best of the best so I put my faith in them. To begin staff is extremely rude. The patients are not given their meds on time. The patients are forced to sit in urine all day. Lastly the rooms are FILTHY. Take your loved ones elsewhere if you want quality healthcare.

Sincerely, this place is nothing but disgusting and depressing in every way. Staff never care about patients. They never answer patients' Requests. I was with my father in law for two weeks in Care One. I had to ask the staff to shower him as they should but they tend to ignore. I used to ask the cleaning staff to come empty the room's garbage, again lazy, don't want to do any cleaning. They never do any of their duties complaining they are so busy. One day, the person in the opposite bed got diarrhea while sleeping. The smell was terrible. The poor man was sleeping feeling nothing. Poop on his bed, his shorts ...We asked for someone to come change him and to clean the bed. They left the person for so long before someone came to do so. BIG SHAME on the management, shame on those who are in charge. This place need to be shut to save patience from humiliation. An advice from the heart, don't even think about going.

This facility has come a very long way. It is local to us, so this wasn’t our first visit. They completely renovated this place. Seems like a lot of new management and New staff. Myther got excellent care. It’s nice the community has a facility like this.

This place is horrible. Mom came here from JFK Neurological Institute. Good Lord. 1 or 2 patient care staff are good, everyone else is missing in action all the time. Mom pressed the red nurse call button to get help going to the bathroom and to prevent another fall. It took someone 13 minutes and 14 seconds to show up. Please do not send anyone here.

My mother was placed here last month after a hosptialization at Robert Wood Johnson. I was skeptical at first about placing her here after I read online reviews however doctor advised that facility had made a complete turnaround so I gave it chance. My family and I visited my mother everyday. The nursing deptarment was exceptional, extremely compassionate and always willing to help! She throughly enjoyed the food. Everyone was extremely acommdating and kind. We had an extremely positive experience, I don't usually post reviews, however I can voucher for the care here!

CareOne Cranbury Rd was recommended by my fathers doctor. My father was very ill with congestive heart failure recovering from surgery. My father was mistreated by an evening attendant witnessed by a room mate resulting in the separation of the attendant. The facility is filthy, not dirty, filthy. I requested cleaning and they never did. Staff is difficult to get to pay attention to you. I arrived mid week for a quick visit to find my fathers lungs were filled with water. To the point he could not talk or barely breath. They only reacted after I started screaming for an ambulance, most if the staff just stood as if they were embarrassed or did not know what to do. I was never so happy to move him out. I cried everyday knowing he was in that place.

One star is not very well deserved, actually. Nice building, OK rooms. Food - you need to be very healthy and very hungry to eat that. Patient care - practically non-existent. You need to stay with your loved one all the time, so that you could hunt down a nurse or an aid when needed. Otherwise they'll never stop by, I don't think. They all have a lot of fun hanging around and chatting about stuff though. Even if you manage to find someone, takes perseverance and some begging to distract them from busy social life to help patient any. Doctors are more difficult to get hold of. Stay away if you can.

Care One was not well managed. We moved my mother out of there because there was a mixed up with her medication. So, I would not recommend it, if the family members were not close by to check in. The staff was over worked and that's why mistakes happened. The rooms were not clean and the food was not good.

Mother was in rehab in the fall. Rehab staff was excellent. The nursing care was terrible. the heating unit in the room did not work several days. Mother caught a cold post shower. The shower room did not have a heating element to warm the room, potential to avoid chill. The staff did not read about a diagnostic test collection so the test had to be repeated. It was terrible
