The Chelsea at the Solana Marlboro is absolutely gorgeous. Their accommodations are very beautiful. My mother's room is very nice. It is clean and well-kept. The staff is very nice, and they tend to all of her needs. They take them to the beach and to go shopping. They have concerts at the facility. They have a theater and a pool table. There is a lot that they can do. The food is good. They made my mother some pancakes and some bacon. They asked her what she wanted, and they gave it to her. They also have special meals for the holidays, like Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is just so expensive.

I lived at The Chelsea at the Solana Marlboro for a month. Their facilities were very new when I was there. The place was beautiful. The bathrooms were very handicapped-friendly. It was better, and the food was better, but the staff was not. It was very good except for the staff.

The Solana (The Solana Marlboro) is a smaller community. It only houses 20 people. They have a beautiful courtyard. Residents can go out to it without being able to get out to the exterior, so it is safe. Their care ratio is 6:1, plus they have a med tech. They have many different activities, and they go on trips. They serve 3 meals a day plus snacks. They offer a car service that takes people to doctor's appointments. They have housekeeping and laundry service. They have in-house doctor, podiatrist, and ophthalmologist that come in. They can do portable x-rays and labs, and they have physical and occupational therapy, all in-house. The staff is very helpful and very accommodating. They answered questions very patiently.
