Lot of confusion there. Lot of poor memory recall. Young people there take there job as a game. Food was as a community would be. Cool to warm when served. Had a few that were not happy to be in the profession. Rooms were nice and updated. I was there for a wound recovery. These places in general are depressing. Not looking for a long term.

Food bad, aids some good, some very bad. Therapy nonexistent. They are keeping me from going to see my surgeon. I will be here forever at this rate. My bedsores are extremely painful and need to be bandaged to protect them. (Like my nurse does at home). I am miserable and have no hope of getting out of here. I have been in a nursing home twice for rehab and twice went to rehab facilities over the years. This is the worst e experience of my life. Help!!

My uncle was very unkept when he was brought to the hosiptal after not seeing him for months he was 60 lbs lighter has not been shaved had a long beard and mustache also hair very long. My uncle was always shaved and hair cut. He was unrecognizable. I was sickened by this and wondered how much did he suffered in his last days of life. Also wasn’t able to see him because of COVID

After not being allowed to visit for 4 months to protect the residents from Covid 37 residents and 15 employees tested positive gut Covid. I was told I could not take my dad it off the facility to care for him at home even though I am his poa. When I argued this they told me this was per the health department. I went to visit my dad thru the window of his room where I seen him laying on a bed with no sheet, no underwear or pants on, no oxygen in or water in his cup! I called the front desk to get help and it took 15 minutes for someone to come to his room. The nurse and the aide were rude and gave excuses to why he was not being taken care of. Monday I called the health department she was told I could take him home and they had never told the nursing home they couldn’t discharge residents. The employees were hateful and rude when I picked him up to bring him home!

Standard with full bath, general staff were somewhat friendly. Weekend Staff sucked because they did little as possible. Weekend nursing care LPN who does not understand residents who can feel their BP downs and/or blood sugar is low/high. Weekend dietary really sucks high on carbs and sugar. Just what a diabetic and renal patient needs. Daily wake up, get dress, get morning drink and put in a wheel chair. Nurse comes by and cheek BP and Blood sugar, then gives out meds. Unknown what activities or amenities available. No one talked about them.

I didn't like Woodland Manor Nursing Center. My husband was there for rehab three years ago. They did not get his medications to him on time. When he would need to go to the bathroom, they wouldn't get there in time so he would have to go in the bed. A social worker at the hospital where he was called me and recommended Woodland. However, they said they can't take him because he complained when he was there for rehab. So, if he complained then, he's going to complain now. I asked if they could keep him until I could find a place and they said no. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. The food was horrible. The cleanliness was a little bit above average, but not too bad. Some staff members were good, and some were not. The facility was OK, but there wasn't too much activity.

My sister was placed in this facility and when I first went to see her, I thought the place was attractive. She was placed in a room with three other women which I was not happy about but it wasn't my choice. The hall she stayed on always smelled of urine and feces. When she became totally bedridden about two months ago, she developed pressure sores on her tail bone, then on both hips, her left shoulder, between her knees and finally, on her right ear. I always had to ask the staff to turn her (if they had been, she wouldn't have developed the sores.) The sore on her tailbone eventually became necrotic and extremely large. The stench from this rotting tissue was horrible. Each time that I came, I always had to clean her face, her mouth, trim her finger nails, etc. She recently died there. She received horrible care there but there was nothing I could do because her husband refused to allow me to be on "the List" so that I could intervene on her behalf. All I can say is that now, she is free. If you have a loved one who cannot speak for themselves, I would never suggest taking them to this place.

The Woodlands of Arnold was a small facility. I know someone who lives there, and I was given a tour by that person. I was really impressed by the entire staff. They knew everybody there. They'd walk by someone and say hello with their name. The dining room appeared to be extremely clean. My mother eventually was going to have to go on Medicaid, but they had four to a room for Medicaid patients, and that stressed me a little bit. My mother's friend lives there, and we've gone several times to visit her. The staff was always very helpful in getting my mom to her friend's room because she was in a wheelchair. Even the director who showed us around knew all the patients by name. There was a whole calendar of events including music, exercises even for wheelchairs, talks, and they had a chapel where they held various services for various congregations. They also take patients out shopping. The activities seemed to be very adequate.

I like it best that the Woodlands is a duplex. It has a yard, we have help if we need it, there is lunch five days a week and the food is fairly good. Everything is very clean and very nice. It is for both my parents and they both have a bathroom, a laundry area, a living room, a dining room, and two bedrooms. The staff members are very nice and very helpful. I would recommend it because it provides assisted living, so you don't have to worry about your parents. It is very nice and very clean, the staff answers all our questions. It also has security and 911 if you need it.

My grandma got placed in the Woodlands Village nursing home a little more than a year ago. My thoughts toward nursing homes have always been rather negative most likely unfairly because I haven't really been to any to give me the right to judge. This place made me feel like my grandma Jean was in the best hands possible. I was greeted at the door by the manager or the facility and brought to her room where she was eating steak and mushrooms, "better food than I get served at home." All of the workers were extremely sweet and very nice toward my grandma, I loved the place.
