My mother has moved into Vista Springs Wyoming. So far, it's been good. The staff is good. It's one floor. Cleanliness is really good. It's too early to tell though, and there's nothing I dislike yet. They have lots of enrichment for the residents. She's in a one bedroom with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, private bathroom, and TV. It's nice. We chose it because of the location.

What a great place overall! I am always so impressed with the way the caregivers interact with the people in their care. They are so attentive and gracious with their time and energy. It has been a great experience for my uncle. I enjoy visiting him not only because of the loving , cheery environment but because of the great staff and management team that is present. Would highly recommend this location especially! Impressive. The rooms are gorgeous . The building is bright. The food is always good and the snacks are plentiful. Residents are busy with non stop activities to keep the entertained . All around a great place to live !

Response time is horrid as the facility is understaffed, 2 caregivers for 62 rooms. Pendants don’t work as staff has to go to the main board to see what room needs help. Housekeeping is basically just takes care of the bathroom as we have to do all the dusting ourselves. Management go to response is “we will look into it” , but NOTHING is ever done. Nice looking facility, but it is just lipstick on the pig. If you want peace of mind knowing that your loved one is getting the best care then keep looking elsewhere unless you can be there on a regular basis to advocate for your loved one.

This is a beautiful facility with a few good caregivers. That is where the complements end. My loved one was in memory care there for 5 weeks. The upper management is not interested in the well being of the residents who pay an exhorbitant amount to live there. They know nothing of care for patients needing memory care. I would expect when I put a loved one in this type of care to get knowledgeable professionals who can communicate with me and explain the types of situations that may arise with Alzheimer's patients and recommend steps that can be taken to help with the special circumstances these beautiful elders encounter. Instead of recommending medications to help my loved one get sleep during sundowning occurances they left him alone to wander the halls. When he became agitated, as many Alzheimer's patients do, they were unexperienced and unable to handle him. They then exaggerated his agitated episodes reporting he seriously injured workers and other residents when no such injuries ever occured. This place is a disgrace! He is now in a wonderful place where he is well cared for and LOVED by the caregivers. If you are thinking about placing a loved one here I strongly urge you not to. This place was a complete nightmare for us.

About six months ago I gave this facility a five star rating based on safety, caring, and activities. I would no longer give it that high of a rating due to managerial problems with enforcing proper care of my mom. My physician husband has spoken or met with administration and nursing care several times regarding her needs to be kept clean to avoid recurring bladder infections. Yesterday, my sister found my mom in a dirty pull-up, found a feces stain on her bedsheets, found a fresh feces stain on the carpet, and had to go to extensive measures to get action for her needs. My sister said the room smelled horrible. My mom's husband has a chronic inflammatory bowel that sometimes requires help to clean up the floor if he doesn't make it on time. He asked for help but they did not help him. My husband and I were in Grand Rapids last week and he addressed mom's issues. The staff assured him that they would check on her every two hours to make sure she is comfortable and clean. I would be happy if they did it morning, afternoon and night. Last night she would have slept in that condition if my sister hadn't noticed her needs. There appears to be a disconnect between ancillary staff and management. I am very concerned that she will develop bedsores and get a bladder infection due to being unclean. They also have not been giving her agreed upon three showers/week. The family would like my mom to receive the care that her hard earned money supports. Costs keep going up but care is not commensurate! KVA

We moved our Mom and Dad into Vista Springs Wyoming in October of 2016. We absolutely love the community and Mom and Dad have made a lot of close friends and couldn't imagine being anywhere else. They have a family night every month and the food is amazing! We love that we can have our parents at such a wonderful place and know that they have a great quality of life. I would recommend Vista Springs Wyoming to anyone.

I loved Vista Springs Wyoming for its spaciousness. It was not crowded and was really clean and had light colors, which made it happier and nicer looking. The people were very friendly, clean, and professional looking. The food was wonderful. There was nothing negative at all. The only thing they didn't have was a swimming pool. The person who toured me around was very pretty, wearing a dress and heels, and looking professional. I can't say anything bad about her at all. When we went back another day during their celebration, she remembered us. You can purchase a lot of services there.

I thought Vista Springs was nice with a homey atmosphere. However, the rooms we looked at did not have a kitchenette nor closets, just little wardrobes. The room wouldn't have worked. The staff was very nice and very capable, and the woman who took us on a tour was very sweet and knew her stuff. It was fairly close to where we live and well maintained. I was very pleased with the facility as a whole but disappointed with the rooms.

Nice facility but that a bit deceiving. Meals are often very late and often cold. Never changes. Management is not a visible presence and communication is unreliable. Quality control is non existent. Would welcome monthly meeting where issues were actually discussed and solutions offered. Door system in the memory unit is unreal. You ring a silent doorbell and wait forever for someone to open. I've had to call the front desk many times just to let me in. Night staff is unsupervised and no one will get the door - even when the door alarm sounds. Horrible entry system and seems to be unresponsive to any confused residents who may try let themselves out unattended. Activities director is great. Most staff is friendly, but the place is obviously poorly run. Email are unanswered. Our elderly population deserves warm food served in a timely manner.

Turnover at this location is troublesome. The director has turned over, the assistant also, many nurses and the chef recently left and they don't have adequate replacements in place. The staff is nice who are there I just think they need more consistency for the residents. Meals have been over an hour late and are not good dietary meals (we believe it is affecting my Fathers sugar levels as he is diabetic.) All of this turnover and they raised the rent several hundred dollars last month. This is not a post in response to the rent - this is a post to inform of the turnover and inquire if you are considering this location. They do a lot of activities for the residents as suggested in their brochures, but not sure of the quality of care that is going on for the considerable cost of living here.

Vista Springs have fantastic people. They are passionate about the welfare of aging people. Their food is fantastic, and they are flexible in pricing. Their place has a lot of windows. It is very bright and sunny. Their hallways looked like the outdoor of a condo. They have their hallways looking like a small community. They have a very active activity group, and they have events everyday. They have a shuttle bus that gets them out every week so they can live their lives to the highest quality. We find it fantastic. We are super happy. Both of my parents moved there. The staff is fantastic. I personally choose to live there myself.

We have my mother in Vista Springs. It is a caring facility. The staff is very caring. They are very attentive. The place is very clean. The food is very good. We had a Christmas thing on Monday night, and the food was wonderful. My mother is content at this place. She is doing a lot of stuff with them.

I would like to read more comments from families. Vista Springs is lovely to tour, but it been very slow to respond to family inquiries, even when we conveyed serious interest. I mailed in a significant deposit a month ago and never received confirmation. Not a word from them since then. What will communication be like if my parent moves in to this facility? These intangibles are very important.

Mom has been living at Vista Spring for about four years now. The staff is very well trained and very kind. It’s a small community, just about 40 rooms. They also offer lots of activities, about four or five activities every day. They have a bus that takes people to outings. So the facility is very, very nice. The staff are very personable and very caring and really spent time with each resident and their family members. I would totally recommend them to anybody.

Vista Springs is our choice of facility for my mother. It's the best one we saw actually. I like that it's new and clean. My mom has been there since last week Friday. The staff seems helpful. My mom has an apartment that has a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room. I haven't eaten there but the food looks fine.
