Cornerstone Village South is privately owned and has assisted, independent and nursing home. The facility is a little old, but the assisted living quarters were the largest I have seen. It's very large, like a small apartment. The staff seemed to be very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The whole facility smelled good. It's in a great location for me. They have a rehab center there too which is good. The food looked good. The dining area is huge. They could probably do a little updating on the outside and in the garden. I probably would recommend it, but it depends how picky you are about the newness of a building.

I went to Cornerstone Village South. The people were very supportive and very knowledgeable. I thought they did a very good job. They had private rooms, and they were spacious and clean. They have activities like playing cards, listening to music, and watching TV.

Cornerstone Village is a little older, and it’s a clean facility. They had a friendly staff, very nice rooms and apartments, and a very nice dining area, and it was the largest of the five that I visited. They gave me a lunch, and it was fine. They had some scheduled visits and events. It was the only one out of a bunch where every apartment had an exit to a patio area. There was an entry from a hallway, but at the end of the living area, there was a door to a large patio area shared by several other apartments, and it was very nice.

The manager gave me a walk through the unit and answered my questions. I was very pleased with it. They're very courteous. I was struck by the fact that the building itself was nice and very clean, the corridors were wide, and the place was well lit. I got the impression that Cornerstone was a well-run organization.

I visited Cornerstone Village South when my friend was looking for a place. It was very impressive and clean. The staff was exceptional. I spoke to the residents there and I found that they were very happy and engaged in activities. It was a nice experience.

My husband was a Eucharistic minister for our church and he would occasionally bring communion to some of the residents at Cornerstone Village. My husband and I attended mass there. It seemed to be a very nice and cheerful place.

When I visited Cornerstone Village, it was very clean. The staff seemed attentive and friendly. My grandma shared a room temporarily with another woman, separated by a curtain. The whole experience gave me a hospital-type feel. The outside had pretty little gardens that people could enjoy. My grandma didn't mind the food but it wasn't liked by everyone. It was very easy to find her room, the staff helped whenever we asked for anything. It wasn't too far from where I lived, so visiting wasn't a hassle. They offered alot of things, including physical therapy, which was what she needed at the time. They advertise at the entrance of the building how it is family owned and operated, but you could really see that in this case. It was cool to see that they provided her with meals and laundry service, stuff like that. Before she stayed there, I never knew what went on in retirement places/hospices. Overall I enjoyed my visit and it was made better by seeing a smile on my grandmas face.
