Arcadia Senior Living Bowling Green was the nicest facility in South Central Kentucky. They had a full dining room with an executive chef, waitresses and waiters. They serve three meals a day. They had a coffee shop, a beauty parlor, a theater, a library, and a bakery. They provide additional support like medication reminders, free laundry and good prices on cable, internet and telephone. They had the studios, 1-bedrooms and 1-bedroom plus. They have larger units in the independent side, but they're not open yet. My friend selected a 1-bedroom which includes a kitchen, a bath, and a living room. The kitchen comes with a refrigerator and a microwave. I was very impressed with the staff. The chef is very well known in this area for outstanding food. You get several choices from the menu including lots of southern delicacies. It's brand new, and it had very wide hallways and all the latest features you would expect. We noticed pull-up bars by the toilet and a walk-in shower. Some people travel in electric carts and there were plug-ins in the hallway for those. You could plug it outside the door from your unit.

My mother is currently in a great place which is Arcadia Senior Living Bowling Green. It's like a 5-star hotel, the amenities are great and I would love to live there myself. They've got three top chefs that come from culinary school here in town. Their staff is exemplary, this is the third community my mother has been in and we've never been in one like this before. The activities are off the charts, it's fantastic and there's something going on all the time. The value is really good because it's cheaper than what we were paying at a less community.
