We liked Heritage Point, and they're structured for the memory care option. The staff who gave us the tour had only been there for 4 months and she had good knowledge of the system, but she wasn't able to fully answer on a long-term basis. The staff there interacted with the patients and they knew their ins and outs. It was a very nice feeling. They were doing some updating, but it was very nice.

Heritage Point was beautiful. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms were extremely clean. They had a nice family gathering area with a fireplace and a big TV. They also had an outdoor garden/patio area.

We did an in-person tour at Heritage Point Memory Care. It was a very nice building, almost like a hotel. It had dining rooms that were very clean. The staff was friendly. I could see that the residents were well taken care of. They had a French chef on staff, and he was very informative as well. The staff member who toured us was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have several places where they can watch TV, some areas for exercise, and some activities for sensory issues. The food was wonderful. I was very impressed with the upkeep.

My aunt is in Heritage Point. It's memory care only, it doesn't have Medicare or Medicaid, it's private pay, and it's excellent. The staff is awesome. I saw one room at the window, and it was very nice and very clean. I can't really trust what my aunt says because she's not really appropriate, but I've gotten feedback from the nurses, we're talking back and forth about treating her, and I feel very good about that. I'm a nurse as well, so I'm keeping a handle on it. They have an outdoor area for them to walk in, and they have a bus to take them on trips to different places. The grounds are clean, and it's all fenced in, so they would not wander off.
They follow the CDC rules very well. They have a lot of activities, and she had her hair done at the little place there. I have nothing negative to say about it right now, but it will be nice when COVID allows us to go in. We sit across the table from her with a mask on, or we go to her window and get to see her and talk to her, but it's not the same. I don't see the activities, but I have the calendar that shows what they do, and I saw her participating in different things. As we were talking to her one on one through the glass doors, people were doing stuff. It's keeping her busy, and that's important. When COVID is over, they can do better as far as bringing people in. It's not cheap; it's comparable to other places.

I didn't like Heritage Point. They have room, but it was definitely a corporate atmosphere; the guy was a salesman. You walk in and you sit at a table. It was not a nice entry; it was worse than the others. They had one room, but they had 66 people who live there total. I wasn't impressed, and the guy just kept calling me. They had a little bit of an outdoor area. It wasn't very much, and it wasn't very well kept. They need to get rid of the corporate feel.

My mom is a resident of Heritage Point. The rooms are nice, and it's a very nice community. They have exercises, games, and activities for the residents. The last time we were there, she was watching a movie in their movie room. They are very friendly, and the staff is excellent.

The quality of services Barbara receives is excellent. She came to Heritage Point on May 10, 2016 after having been in another facility where they did not keep her clean. Her care at Heritage Point is great. She is kept clean, has loving care, good activities, good food, good meds administration, and my family and I are very happy with her care.

The layout at Heritage Point was very nice. They have different teams that they have setup through to help the residents think of their past. We liked the rooms a lot of better like the shower facility, which we thought would be a lot better for my father. They had 3 or 4 different areas for the residents to eat, smaller so that it wasn’t like a huge cafeteria type of place. I was really impressed.

Heritage Point is clean and well organized. The design of the building is circular, so people can walk around. There’s a courtyard inside they can visit any time they want. The place is well maintained, and the dining area is really nice.

I visited Heritage Point. My problem with this place is there were no private rooms available. What they showed me was a shared room. They did have an outside courtyard that looked very nice. I think they need to improve their dining area. Their dining area looked like a school cafeteria. As an elderly, you need to have a little more atmosphere.
