This place is very nice and welcoming. Their staff seem to really care about each and every one of their residents. The residents always have smiles on their faces. They seem to always have something to do wether it’s watch tv, talk to other residents, watch the bird, help in the garden or even play bingo. There’s never a dull moment.

After visiting other homes, Buchanan Meadows was my favorite. It’s a lovely environment which doesn’t restrict the residents. Everyone is treated with respect and made to feel as if they live in a place that is an extension of their own homes. Great snacks, thoughtful activities, wonderful staff, and needs met. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

Buchanan Meadows is hidden treasure. Tucked away in a neighborhood, it's quiet, safe and cozy with a homey atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to meet the residents needs and keep them functioning at their highest potential. (Truly impressive.) They are on point in communicating with the family any needs/issues, good/bad, the resident may have. What impressed me most was the feeling of comfort and ease the minute I walked in the door. And CLEANLINESS throughout!!! In South Bend and Northern IN, I had looked at 3 other facilities (feeling a bit discouraged after the third) and the Meadows is nothing like the others. The residents appear comfortable and the staff makes a huge effort to have the residents engaged with groups activities (bingo, movies, puzzles, etc., etc., etc...) There is a sense of caring and community among staff, residents and the residents family members. I feel so fortunate to have been directed to the Meadows and can rest assured it's the right place.
