I toured Gentry Park Bloomington. I think the staff is helpful. We were able to see all of the community areas and some of the private rooms. The rooms seem spacious, nice, and have high ceilings. It seemed very clean and modern. They can take you outside the community, they have several things inside the community they bring in, of course with COVID, that's a little bit less right now. They have a workout area, and they have workout activities.

We went to Gentry Park Bloomington. They were great. We just walked in. We didn't have an appointment or anything. Sarah, the director of activities, actually gave us a quick tour around the facilities and showed us one of the models that they had opened. We were also looking at the one-bedroom there. What we liked about there is that some of the one-bedrooms are on the outside of the building and have exterior entrances. My grandmother would have a front door that we could kind of drive up and just go straight into her room, which is cool. It was also super new and modern. They had a ton of community spaces. They had a theater room and grandma could go to church in the morning if she wanted to. They had a lot of cool activities. It felt more like a campus there, which is kind of neat. We enjoyed it. They didn't have the director of sales in there when we were there, but she called me this morning and sent me an email, too. They were very quick to communicate. The staff during the tour was great. I don't think she normally does tours. I think she was just one of the people that were there. Everybody there was super helpful. People were eating by that time and it all looked good. It smelled really good, but we didn't eat any of it while we were there.

I went to Gentry Park. It would be a great choice. It was a little bit pricey, but it has assisted and memory care, and they had separate little houses. The staff was great, they had lots of activities, a great rehab room, the dining room was more like going somewhere else and eating, and the menu was excellent. Everything there was excellent, but it was pricey.

Of the places I visited, I liked Gentry Park Bloomington the best. I liked the design and the way it was put together. It was not deary. I liked the director. I got a good feeling about it. The rooms were nice. They had a physical therapy room and activities. It had a nice natural area around it, which I liked.
