My mother has been at Garden Place for over two years now. They do independent living and assisted living, but they don't provide higher level of memory care. Nevertheless, we have been very happy with this community. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment there. They do her laundry, light housekeeping, and once a week they clean the bathroom and vacuum the floors. They also provide meals and activities. They have a bus that will take them to activities outside and to Walgreens and Wal-Mart. Their van accommodates wheelchairs. They are always trying something different.

We're trying to get my mother to Garden Place. I am extremely impressed with the place. We talked to the residents, and they love living there. People are very caring, and it's comforting for my family to know that my mom will be in their hands. The apartments are very nice, accommodating, and furnished. There's a lot of cabinet space for storage. Each resident has a storage area where they can store things like clothing, so that's very accommodating. The rooms, the layout, and the color are very nice. Everything is inviting. The community itself is all good.

I liked Garden Place. It was clean and didn't have any odors like most nursing homes do. The staff was very nice, and the rooms were nice and clean with two people to a room. The dining area was very nice and clean. The people were friendly. I would recommend it.
