Staff is extremely helpful and responsive to the resident's needs and my requests. I am very confident that the resident is receiving good, conscientious care. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

The Village at Victory Lakes is a very nice and clean place and looks like a resort. I like everything about the place except that they don't have Spanish-speaking residents, so my aunt is not able to socialize. The only two people that speak Spanish were CNAs, and they can't be with her all the time. They do ceramics, bingo, singing, movies, and outings. They do activities outside their grounds, and my aunt will be watching out the window in her bedroom. The staff is very good. Everyone says the food is good. They have an exercise area, fitness classes, and music. It's a big place. They serve food and everything is very organized. The dining area is like a restaurant. It's a very expensive facility though. From their rehab, she went into respite there, and she's now in a studio. The only problem I have is for her to mingle with other people and socialize.

I visited The Village at Victory Lakes. I liked it very much. There are people there that I know. It seems to be everything I am looking for. If you have a problem, there is somebody there to help you with it. Also, everything is in the same area, like my doctors are closeby. The Village at Victory Lakes provides a washer and dryer in each room. The staff members are extremely accommodating and helpful. They showed us around and invited us for lunch. They have bus service to three different areas that the other places didn't. They come to our little town here and then they go to another town east of here. They offer 2-bedroom apartments that seem to be spacious.

I moved in to The Village at Victory Lakes last January. It's very well-maintained and clean. The food is agreeable -- not the greatest but not the worst. The rooms are fine, and the CNAs and nurses are helpful and do what's needed. I play Bingo and some other group games. They have a large area where most of us can gather in and participate in different kinds of activities. They also have two buses, and they take you to doctor's appointments. The independent living has a tavern, a movie theater, a little country store to buy food, and a regular wine and beer bar.

You have to buy-in to live at The Village at Victory Lakes' individual duplexes. The meals were great. The office people were very cordial and nice. When we walked to the assisted living area, it seemed like there were a lot of people out in the hallway in wheelchairs unattended, and that didn’t look promising to us. They had quite a few amenities, an activity area, a library, a conference room, and a couple of dining areas for independent and assisted living people.

We chose Victory Lakes for my father-in-law because a lot of people around here recommended it, and we would be moving him on the 10th. The staff was terrific. The rooms were very nice. They were current, modern, and bright with lots of windows. They had many activities. We saw an exercise class, a Wii bowling group, and people doing something while sitting down.
