I went to see Robin Way, but I haven't chosen one yet. The tour went great. It was a very excellent place. The people were nice. The place was nice and clean. It looked like it was well managed and well maintained. It had a nice atmosphere and was in a nice location. The staff was very friendly, answered all my questions, and offered to help me (even if I wanted to go somewhere else and had any questions). The rooms were incredible, actually. They had a calendar that was out with different activities every day. They even went on bus trips to the museums and casinos. It seemed like there was always something for somebody to do. They had a spa, a barbershop, and a coffee shop. It was really nicely put together.

We went to Robin Way. I think it was a very good tour. The facility is nice. They have updated the kitchens in the majority of their rooms. It's a smaller community where everybody knows each other's names. It looked like they had very good care for the residents. There's always an RN on staff at any time of the day. The one-bedrooms are a really nice size. Their studios are very small. Overall, I would say that they were a bit pricey. The staff who assisted me was very good. She was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and she took the time to explain everything to us that needed to be explained. Everybody we met was very friendly. It's a very nice facility, it seems like they have a very good staff, but I feel that they were overpriced.

Robin Way has been a very nice assisted living community. Everybody is very nice. It's well-kept and well-maintained. My mother has a 1-bedroom. It's a studio with kind of a wall dividing. It's very nice. It's very, very clean. She likes the room and everything about it so far. They have bingo. They have poker and some other things too. She's just been there for a week now, so it's hard to tell what they really have. She likes the food. They have a beauty shop. They have a couple of coffee shops there. They have a nice patio outside and a gardening area. They call me with updates regularly.

We went to Robin Way, and we liked that facility. It was very clean, bright, it looked like there were a lot of activities going on there, the person that gave us the tour was real thorough, answered all our questions, and showed us around. They had a salon, the layout was good, it was like a letter X. The unit we looked at had plenty of light coming through windows on each side of the unit. The unit we looked at was wooded in the back, which was nice.

My mother lived here. Rooms are small, 300 sq ft. with a full kitchen that was never used and took up alot of space. Food was good. They have had five directors there in five years so there was a constant turnover in staff on all levels. Place is dated. It is expensive as each service is an addtl fee and there was an annual increase. Private pay. Bus, if working, took residents for a ride or to the Dollar Store, Target, Shopko. Room was cleaned weekly, if there was a housekeeper. There were weeks on end when the bus did not work and they were without a housekeeper. Beauty shop available weekly.

The people at Robin Way were very helpful, answered our questions, were very friendly, and pleasant. It's a very nice facility and everything was clean. The dining room smelled good, and it was well organized and clean. They had a beauty salon. It felt homey.

Robin Way seemed nice, it was fine, but we cannot afford it. It's private pay. The person who assisted us was super nice, friendly, and accommodating. I saw the dining area, we noticed they were just getting back from going out to eat at a restaurant, which was great. There was an activities lady in the dining room, and they were painting rocks.

The directors at Robin Way are very friendly, accommodating, and answered a lot of my questions. I've read good reviews about them and the woman that runs the apartment where my mom was staying had good things to say about them. The care seems excellent. The food is pretty good. She always has two choices, and they're aware of her food allergies. She's able to continue physical therapy. She's gone from having to be in a wheelchair to walking pretty good distances with a walker. Her PT person will try her on a cane this week. She's making progress. They have an art class, and they've gone out shopping on their bus. She's being more active and more social. It seems like a good place.

Robin Way was nice, and the staff I talked to was nice and pleasant. The rooms were nice. They had one-bedrooms, two-bedroom apartments, and studios. They offer shopping and have a hair salon. It seemed like a nice place, clean, and people were polite.

I toured Brookdale and I would recommend it. They were on their best behavior when I met them and they seemed very nice. The dining area is pretty and comfortable, and the menu is very nice. The price was comparable to the others.

The rooms at Brookdale Pleasant Prairie were very nice. They weren't quite as large as some of the others, but they were still large and well furnished. They offered all kinds of foods, snacks, and special things for the residents. The only thing I didn't like was that it's in the middle of nowhere. It took forever for me to find it, and I was thinking that if I live here, how would people find me to visit? The people and workers were happy. They had special diets and menus where you could choose your food. You'd get so many dinners for the month included with what you pay. They had trips and activities. It was very nice.

I looked at Brookdale for my mother. The facility was very neat and clean. It was rather large and confusing to maneuver the facility for an average adult, so I’m wondering for a confused adult how terribly awfully bad that would be. Also it didn’t have a consistent chapel setup that was recognizably more towards the Catholic religion. However, the facilities were clean and neat. They had individual bathrooms. The rooms were appropriate. There were some monitoring and some alarms on doors, so my mother couldn’t just walk out the doors and get lost, so I like that as well. The meals looked very appropriate. They had nice dining rooms, and they had adequate help that seemed genuinely interested with the residents. In response to safety and cleanliness, I thought they would be fine. Everyone was friendly, but a couple of people were a little bit aloof. The director was very accommodating and informative. However, at times, I felt she was a little bit too business-like and more concerned about the money than the comfort.

Brookdale Pleasant Prairie is close to our house, and it seems pretty nice. The staff is very nice. They are very attentive. Their director seems to be a little too busy and does not really follow through all the time with the things he talks about. The food is good. The sanitation they have not been doing well lately because they lost their housekeepers, but there are new ones starting in the beginning of the month.

They have many options at Wynwood of Kenosha. I wanted to move there, actually. They have two dining halls, a beauty parlor, and a coffee shop. It looked more like a hotel. They have a huge lobby with a fireplace and a library. It was a very nice place. It was excellent. It was also very clean. The grounds were beautiful. The apartments were beautiful. They were spacious. They have little kitchenette, a separate bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, and a little dining area. They were beautiful. They have everything there imaginable. They have bingo and spelling bees. When I was there, one of the aides was doing one of the women's nails, which I thought was really cute.

I liked the location of Wynwood. The staff was really good, I liked pretty much everything about it. The only thing I didn’t care for were the living quarters, which were small. Everything was clean. The dining area was nice, clean and didn’t smell.

Wynwood of Kenosha was a really nice place. The rooms were very nice, newly remodeled, and spacious. We ate there once and the food was excellent. The place was very clean. My mom didn't go there, but that's where we wanted her to go.

We were impressed with Wynwood. The rooms were very spacious, very nice and very clean. You have your privacy but you still can have everything done for you. The staff was very caring. They took us around for a tour and showed us the studios and the 1-bedrooms. It seemed like it would be a place that I would go with when I'm in my 50s.

The facilities appeared to be quite clean, given the expense involved, and the staff was quite friendly. I wish my uncle was getting somewhat more one-on-one care, but given what he can spend, he is getting top of the line care.
