Westbridge Assisted Living & Memory Care is located in a quaint neighborhood of Wheaton, IL, surrounded by many parks and nature preserves. Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital are the two major medical centers within 3 miles, and numerous physician offices are also found in the neighborhood. There are many recreational opportunities for seniors in Wheaton, including golf courses and a zoo.
Westbridge Assisted Living & Memory Care offers a combination of luxury and professional support to enable seniors to enjoy their golden years to the fullest. Residents live in one-bedroom suites featuring kitchenettes, full baths and emergency call systems. Trained staff is available around the clock to help residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, housekeeping, laundry and medication management. The team can also assist seniors with making and keeping appointments.
Amenities at Westbridge Assisted Living & Memory Care include chef-inspired meals served restaurant-style to give seniors opportunities to socialize. A robust calendar of social, cultural, recreational and spiritual activities is also provided to keep seniors active. Other benefits include scheduled transportation to local medical appointments, covered utilities except for telephone and free Internet. Residents can also enjoy relaxing or hosting guests in the beautiful outdoor spaces.

We’ve had family members at the Wydemere community since it opened over 20 years ago. With another couple moving in soon.
A family member just moved to Westbridge and the family could not be happier. The transition from Independent living through skilled nursing and then into assisted living was seamless.
We have also had friends move in on our families recommendation.
Andrew, Paula and all the rest of the staff have been attentive, kind and totally professional.
I have not hesitated to recommend the entire community to anyone who has ever asked about it.

Just moved my uncle into Wyndemeres assisted living facility Westbridge. Best thing we could have done for him. At 87 years old and dealing with Parkinsons , medication and meals were a challenge. This has relieved a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety from his life. They have a lot of activities and group events that keep him busy and entertained. Nurse delivers his meds on a timely basis and the food selection and quality is outstanding. Highly recommended

I am currently a resident of independent living in Wyndemere. In early September, I tore a tendon in my knee. After surgical repair of it, I return to my independent living apartment but quickly felt overwhelmed with the things I needed to do to care for myself. So I chose to move to one of the “respite care“ rooms in Westbridge. Here I was able to take advantage all the help from staff for preparing meals, dispensing medications, dressing, laundry, and showering. The staff was very helpful and was available at the push of a button that I wore around my neck. Independent living residents at Wyndemere are entitled to up to 90 days use of a respite care room at no additional cost. I would definitely recommend independent living residents to take advantage of this facility if and when they need it. There were only two downsides of this experience: the food is not prepared at Westbridge, so there were a number of times where the food was not as warm as it could’ve been. Secondly, the administrative actions that happened on the first day by the marketing staff were awkward at best.

Our father is a newer resident, he moved in about 3 1/2 months ago. He is 88, declining into later-stage Alzheimer’s, sadly. Westbridge has been a balm for me. Every single person there is kind and caring. It’s amazing. No one treats it as a job. They are all tuned into our Dad. It’s a lovely facility in a lovely setting. Are there a few bumps in the road? Every now and then, but the staff is always kind and open to us.
My sister and I toured 8 (yes, 8!!) AL homes in the west and southwest Chicago suburbs. Far an away Westbridge was the nicest and prettiest. The rooms are comfortable and updated. We and Dad feel cozy in his new apartment. But nice and quality care are the important parts. And we are happy our Dad is here.

My mom was at Westbridge for a month of respite care. The staff and administration were very nice. She enjoyed the activities, and the meals with others. She made friends, Westbridge said she can come back to visit them, she is hoping to do so.

My father needed respite care after suffering some medical issues. I called Westbridge and they got him in the next day. He stayed for three weeks and I can't say enough great things about Westbridge. First, all the folks who worked there were so kind and helpful. The apartment was a wonderful suite with a living area, kitchenette, bedroom and living room. He received three meals a day plus any snacks he could have wanted. Westbridge had daily activities, including happy hour. I talked to several residents while my dad was there and they all told me how happy they were at Westbridge. One resident had even lived there for 18 years!! I would highly recommend Westbridge and I found it also to be very reasonably priced.

We moved Mom into Westbridge 10/21. We couldn’t be happier. Great staff, great facility, great management Mo. Our Mom has been so well cared for and we have great peace of mind. We are so happy we found Westbridge!

Westbridge is a wonderful facility. Apartments are cozy and fresh. The staff responds to my husband's request very quickly. The activities are 7 days a week, varied, and fill his time pleasantly. Food great, served in a lovely dining room.
Couldn't ask for more!

We moved our friend here so she would have the care and safety she needed. What a wonderful facility and we couldn’t be happier with the staff. She loves all the activities and they welcomed her in as part of their community on the first day.

My dad had to unexpectedly move to assisted living. It has been nothing but a great transition for him. All staff members have been so helpful to us and answered our copious amount of questions. They have gotten to know my dad and he feels comfortable there. There are many activities to choose from and he looks forward to having something to do each day. He, also, looks forward to his meals and enjoys the food. All of us children are grateful to all the help we received when moving him in and we sleep well at night knowing dad is well taken care of.

Westbridge provides an excellent structure of assisted healthcare that the resident and the family can depend upon. This is combined with individual and compassionate flexibility to make the resident feel comfortable and handle unique needs. Personnel at the front desk were helpful and friendly and the intake and marketing person was informative and accommodating. The nursing staff was excellent (great attitude) and the administrator is a committed healthcare professional.
