I toured The Oaks at Savannah, and it was very nice. It was clean. They had medium rooms and larger rooms. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice. When I entered the lobby, they had beautiful chairs and people just sitting out there, doing puzzles or on their phones. I only saw one room, but it was small. They were located near restaurants, groceries, and Skidaway Island.

The Oaks at Savannah was good. The only thing I didn't like was the price. It was nice. I liked the surrounding area and rooms. I liked everything. I talked to some of the tenants there, and they spoke highly of the place. The price is kind of too high. The staff was good, professional, and courteous. I saw a one-bedroom and two-bedroom. All the rooms were good. I guess they have just finished remodeling, so I like the modifications that they've done, like the new floors. Everything was excellent. The dining area was very nice and very clean. Everything I saw was very clean, professional, and up to date. They have a salon.

I went to The Oaks at Savannah. It was a really good tour. I think it was the executive director, she had ended up filling in because the person who was supposed to be there wasn't there. I ended up liking it like any of the other places that I've been, just from how welcoming she was, and how generous the staff was with giving information. The residents looked real nice. The rooms were clean, they were large and for the price it was, it was really good. If my dad is approved to have assisted living, that probably would be the place that I end up taking him. Probably one of the downsides, it didn't have a courtyard. They were updated. The community fee was only a thousand dollars and I could afford a bigger room or even two rooms for the price that the other place was offering. The rooms had a refrigerator. You get a full refrigerator if we did a two-bedroom instead of the little mini-fridge. They even offered me a deal off of some already furnished model apartments.

My mother moved into The Oaks at Savannah. They have been great with her. Unfortunately, she's not well, but they have been more than accommodating. They have so much more to offer our mother. They have in-house therapy. The med techs are great. They have nursing on-staff. It's just been a good experience all around. The staff is very nice. I haven't encountered anything bad. The food is great. She loves the food. They're very accommodating with what she wants and needs, and they will work around their menu for her. Everything is really good. We got meals that they had for families, and it was really nice. It's so much better than where we were. It's very clean. We're happy with everything. They have activities and an activities director. She's starting to do their in-house therapy, hopefully, and that can be a help instead of having someone come from outside. They're always giving out newsletters with what they have going on. They keep them busy. They have a nice porch where they can sit outside, a nice therapy room, and a little bistro area where they can go and have coffee, and have happy hour for them.

I went to The Oaks at Savannah. It's cheerful and clean, and the staff seemed professional and caring. I just got a brief glimpse, and they looked like a normal facility. The rooms looked nice. We had a choice of furnished or unfurnished, we're going to take an unfurnished, and they looked decent size. They're studios, so they're not huge, but that's all we need. They had just so many activities. There are too numerous to mention, but it included taking them on tours of downtown Savannah, taking them tours of the river. They had a lot of activities that were outside of the facility. They've got a fully staffed up, fully functional activity room for cards, singing, and all kinds of trivia.

It is a very positive and very pleasant experience. The staff is very nice, they have been fabulous. The facilities are great and the activities are very appealing. My dad has been there since July, and we are very pleased with the care that he is getting. He doesn't participate in any of the activities, but there seems to be a lot of them available. Based on the calendar I've seen, they have live performances, concerts, and trips. My dad seems to like the food, too.

The location seemed a little far out from the city. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. The best thing was the quietness and peacefulness, and it is way out in the boondocks. They also had Alzheimer's care which was very nice.

When we got there they were super-friendly. The staff was helpful, and it was a beautiful place. We went there in Christmas; it’s gorgeous, and the decorations were pretty. It has a nice, homey atmosphere. The rooms looked nice. They showed us an empty room, one they had setup, and another with furniture that you can bring. They do have an exercise class each morning, and they have a therapy there. They have a library too.

My mom is in here. They are very helpful. It is set up very nicely, and the residents are wonderful. They have an activities director who is very good. She has different things for them to do. She gets my mom’s hair done, and they have a happy hour every Friday. They have a wheelchair accessible van that takes her to her doctor’s appointments. They have a chef, and the food is really good. The dining room is beautiful. It looks like a nice restaurant. It is a beautiful place, and it looks like a 5-star hotel. The rooms are really nice. She has a huge closet, a living room, and a kitchenette. She also has a huge bathroom. They also have a large separate dining room. So if a big family group comes to celebrate a birthday or whatever, they can reserve it. They also have a movie room.

It was very nice. I would move my mom in there in a heartbeat. The people were nice. They were so kind, and they seemed to love living there. The staff seems to love their jobs. They actually had a thunderstorm and a power outage, and they didn’t miss a beat. They were very apologetic for making us wait 5 minutes. They were just fantastic. The rooms were very spacious. The dining area was very nice. I couldn’t say enough nice things about it.

It was nice and it seemed to fit what mom needed. She’s been living there since December. It seemed like it has a pleasant environment. The rooms basically have a living area, a small refrigerator and sink, a bedroom, bathroom and a large closet. The staff had a caring concern, was pleasant and very helpful. Mom seemed to like the food and had no complaints about it. For activities, they can go out and have lunch once a week, they have jewelry making and people come in for entertainment. They have exercise groups and bible studies.
