This facility is well maintained and very beautiful for its history of being almost a 100 years old. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everything is very clean and smells so nice when you walk in. The suites are great size for the elderly and have beautiful views of the bay. I would highly recommend this facility for the pricing as they have an all inclusive rate which is hard to find anywhere these days.

If you need assistance with anything this is NOT the place to go. It was HORRIBLE, residents are afraid to push the call button because of the treatment they receive from the staff. My mother was there for two weeks and the only reason she stayed that long was because I had to go out of town. There only gave her one shower in 2 weeks and didn't wash her hair. They would not take her to the bathroom when she needed to go and they did not help her once they finally did take her. She is a frail 96 year old, can't stand up on her own and has arthritis in her hands. There is so much more that is wrong with this place I just don't have the room to write it all down. DO NOT GO TO HUDSON MANOR!!!

It was horrible! If you can walk it's probably ok, but if you actually need assistance with daily activities, then this is not the place to go. Some of the staff were mean, rude and outright neglect and should not be working with people who need assistance. Only a hand full of the staff was helpful. There were termites and roaches in the room.

Hudson Manor was nice. I chose it for location. The staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The rooms I saw were like dorm rooms, but they had a variety. They had a hair place for mom, they do activities, there's a garden club that's close by that comes and brings flowers and stuff like that and they do flower arranging with them. They have stuff to do.

We went to Hudson Manor. There was no kitchen facility, but we liked the proximity to the hospital the most. They have some activities. My mom is really interested in swimming, and there is no swimming pool onsite. There is one next door. It's a public pool though. The staff was knowledgeable. It's just that the whole environment was totally different, but he did a nice job. We weren't offered a meal.

Hudson Manor was an older facility. It reminded me more of an old-fashioned nursing home. It just seemed like it catered more to people that were really not with it. It kind of smelled old, but the people were very nice. The staff was wonderful. John, who gave me the tour, was really great. It just was not a good fit for my mom. It was a 1900 hotel, and the room I saw was huge. He said it was one of the biggest ones they had. They pretty much just have studios there. They don't really have apartments per se. They were OK, nothing spectacular. It was just a big room with a bathroom and a closet. They have a lobby sitting area, a dining room, and a back patio. They don't really have a lot of amenities there. The activities director was there and she was teaching some women a little class in a small room off the dining room. I got to meet the director, and she was very nice. The staff there was great. I have no complaints about any of them.

Hudson Manor was a 99-year-old building, and they only had studio apartments. It's under new ownership and they're starting renovations, but it's still pretty rough. The staff was excellent there. The common areas were newly renovated. They were very nice. They were professionally run, but the rooms were very tiny. They were all really old. It used to be a hotel. There's only so much they can do with them. It's a very basic living environment when you get to the rooms. They had some activities, but I didn't look into that after I saw the rooms.

My mom was admitted there in mid February of 2020. She had a remarkably easy adjustment after having said for years that she would not leave her home. Then COVID hit and I wasn't able to visit her. The staff were good at facilitating FaceTime meetings with her. They have taken such good care of her and it shows - she is clean and happy as can be. It's been such a pleasure to see the care they've taken!

My dad has been living at Hudson Manor for almost two years. The staff there is very caring and patient. His room is beautiful and its location on Davis Island is so close to everything, including Tampa General Hospital.
I feel a connection with the care staff who take the time to get to know the residence and treat them like family.

I placed my mother here seven weeks ago following a short hospital stay and a week in a local rehabilitation facility. Mom lived in her home for 60 years with that last 15 years independently as a widow. Making the transition to an assisted living facility was never really a thought for her until her heath forced the decision. We were lucky to find Hudson Manor and she adjusted quite well to the new surroundings and the assisted living concept.
I have found the entire staff to be genuinely interested in Mom's care and well being. The caregivers and nurses all take a personal interest in her condition, comfort, and needs. They are all enthusiastic and upbeat and constantly check on her. They make her feel comfortable.
It seems to me a trademark of Hudson's staff is their dedication to each resident's needs and the caring manor they interact with each resident.
It's a comforting feeling that the staff takes a personal interest in my mother to make her time here meaningful.
