Palms of Sebring was horrible. I would not recommend them to anybody. Mom was supposed to be getting physical therapy, but she got absolutely nothing. They only had her in bed all the time. Mom's room was a shared room and it was more like a hospital room to the bare minimum. Her bed sunk on one side. They were extremely understaffed. Every time I called, I couldn't get anybody to answer me. They didn't answer their phones, they didn't call you back. I felt that they were not equipped and not knowledgeable enough. I tried getting her out of there for two weeks, but they were not being cooperative. They were not giving her transfer papers, and they did not provide her physical therapy records.

Family member neglected, arrived in er from this facility with deep heel decubitus and multiple bacterial septic shock and urine catheter bacterial infection, leg wounds untreated, infected, severe dehydration. Had been a resident in palms for several years prior to this horrific neglect.

We found the staff to be uncaring and inattentive to his needs. I went everyday for 10 days, the cleanliness was awful. I would find him laying in his own feces, dirty sheets and diapers in his room. Rooms are outdated and the shades and drawers didn't work.

My husband is at The Palms Of Sebring and doing very well there. It's wonderful because he is getting a lot of therapy, and there are a lot of activities. It is a great, clean place. My husband's room is very good, nice, and neat. The nurses and the help are very friendly. The staff is very caring. The food is great, too.

The Palms in Sebring is what I believe to be a very nice facility. I have never been to any other facilities, so I am not familiar with how other facilities are run, but The Palms was very nice on the outside and inside. It was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. They were very caring and helpful and made my friends grandmother feel very welcome with the transition of moving into an assisted living facility. The other people living in the facility seemed quite happy and seemed to really enjoy their current living situations. This made me and my friend feel alot better about moving his grandmother into The Palms assisted living facility in Sebring,Fl.
