OMG this place is the worst nursing home I ever visit in Miami Beach , they are very rude ! they never return your phone call back, the nurses over there very nasty and does not clean the patient! I mean God have to do something with those people they treated people like animals justice for God! Justice, justice ,Justice.

My father was in Berkshire Manor. The staff was great. They were great. They had a lockdown facility for people with Alzheimer's, and my father had Alzheimer's, so it was good for me. It was excellent. Their rooms were excellent. There were two, sometimes three, to a room, but most of the time, it was very clean. I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. They had excellent food. Their dining was not elegant, but it was big and clean. When you're unable to get the food, they will always send a CNA for you. With regards to activities, they had everything for the people in the closed-down unit.

The facility is in decent condition. The staff provide great Care. I saw the nurse and CNA come in several times to check on the resident. I work as an agency nurse. The fact that the staff is very welcoming and eager to work ad a team to take care of the residents, makes me want to come back more often. The bathrooms in most rooms are shared. Nevertheless, resident privacy is taken very seriously here. The CNA drew the curtain and closed the door while she cleaned the resident. She used soap, water, and rags. As silly as this sounds, you would be surprised how many people and/or facilities that don't do this. There are TVs in most rooms, and good quality at that. I would recommend this facility. The staff is personable. The only downside is the employee bathroom could use some renovations. The residents area are actually very clean and up to date. O yeah, and each door has a sign that reads... THIS IS MY HOME...PLEASE KNOCK. Residents seem to be number one here.
