The staff was diligent and well trained. Care was given in a caring and compassionate way. PT sessions were conducted on regular basis and tailored to the individuals needs. The food was served in a clean and open setting with residents encouraged to mix together. The diversity and portion size was adequate but not great. They tried to do rotating meal choices but it was difficult as many of the residents were there for extended times. In a situation like this nearly anything becomes repetitive. The facility was aging. Flooring and wall coverings and treatments were aging and wearing. Equipment was available for medical care use but was aging as well.Security was acceptable but was mainly for keeping the residents from wandering away rather than to keep outsiders from entering ( not viewed as a problem). My mother in law was there for about six months as she recovered and rehibilitated from surgery. I would rate the entire facility / staff as the middle of the scale but it was convenient for my father in law and affordable. All in all it was a safe and acceptable place that allowed my mother in law to recover and did not break the bank.
