Legend of Broomfield was very, very nice. Spencer, their director of sales, still reaches out to me to assist us in any way possible. They had lovely amenities, like a really nice dining room and a restaurant where the residents can order off the menu. The building was spotless and the rooms were very, very nice. They had a lot of activities for the residents. They also had a standalone kitchen where their residents could host dinners for families or people that come over.

I went to the Legend of Broomfield yesterday. I was impressed with the facility until I talked to two residents and their families, and then I found out that things were not as they appear to be. There's been a significant increase in rent about 18% in the last year, a high staff turnover, and dissatisfaction with being able to get answers to the questions and concerns. So, it won't be on my list at this point in time. It was homey in the assisted living, but there was a marked change between the assisted living portion and the memory care portion. I met one employee and she was friendly. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. Unfortunately, the residents were all in front of televisions. They have standard apartments, salon and courtyard. I liked the walk-in spa/tub, and there was a gym.

I was able to visit Legend of Broomfield, which is really good, but my grandpa doesn't have a real desire to move from where he is at right now, so we are letting him stay there. He likes Legend of Broomfield but he just needs time to process, and he doesn't want a whole bunch of change right now, but he will probably want to move there in a couple of months or so, probably by the end of the year. The facility is very nice. It is a brand-new building. They have a really good dining area, lots of amenities, and a good courtyard. The staff members were very helpful.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!
There are too many instances to list on how bad our experience was with Legend.
They have the rudest staff I have ever encountered (Dennis, Erika, Jessica, Carmel, even the corporate offices...the list goes on)
They straight up lied us on multiple occasions and then tried to cover it up.
Upon moving out, my loved one's room was disgusting. Moldy food containers were found around the room and it looked like nothing had been wiped down or cleaned in months. (We have pictures)
Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of Legend of Broomfield. We could not get out of there fast enough.

Legend of Broomfield has been doing a great job in protecting their residents from covid19. This includes making families of residents aware of how they can help with this objective. This eases our concerns as the level of success proves the process is working.

We placed my father-in-law in Legend of Broomfield. It is one of the nicest places we have in the area. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. The cost is within our wheelhouse as far as what we were looking for. It is also 10 minutes from our house. I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years, and it is one of the nicest places I have ever been in.
My father-in-law has been there for over a month or so. The dining area is one of the nicest ones I have ever seen. If you didn't know you're in an assisted living center, you would think you're probably in some nice restaurant somewhere. The food is excellent, too.
Obviously most of the activities have been cancelled because people are quarantined, but they do everything from scenic drives to museum visits. They go up to the mountains in Colorado, they go to the Central City, and they go to the rec center which is five minutes away. They do art activities, they go to Bronco games, and they have music activities. Pretty much anything you can think of that is creative, they get people involved. For the value of money, it is not the most inexpensive, but it is not the most expensive. It is also in the middle of the road.
