I toured Winslow Court. The staff were all wonderful and very informative. The rooms were great, spacious, and clean. The dining area was beautiful. It was set up like a restaurant. I didn't have a meal, but they sent us home with some cheesecake, and it was very, very delicious. The grounds were very clean. They have a courtyard. It's winter here, so we didn't get to go outside. They also have a dog run, and they have a picnic area. You can bring your family. They were playing bingo when we walked in. They had a laundry area, they had an activity area and they had a bigger activity area. It was pretty large.

We have toured Winslow Court. It was a really nice facility. As soon as we walked in, you could see everybody interacting. They had just gotten in some flowers, and everybody was arranging flowers. The activity director was with a gentleman playing a beanbag game. There was a lot of activities as soon as we walked in. The gentleman that we toured it with was really informative. The rooms seemed really big to us and some had kitchens. It just seemed like a pretty nice place. If my mom's home care doesn't work out, its probably where she'll want to go. Their CEO or whatever is there once a month checking on the place or maybe more. He happened to be there when we were there, so I think it keeps everybody on the ball, too.
They give you rides, and they can take you on field trips and different things. There's a lot of lush green grass outside. They have exercising in the activity room. They do your laundry, and they provide your meals and clean your room. It's pretty big and open. It's an older facility, but very clean and immaculate. We looked at a one-bedroom suite, and that was pretty big.

My dad has moved into Winslow Court. They're wonderful. They're very, very caring and supportive. I like their large rooms and living areas. It's a comfortable lifestyle. There are lots of trees. I've tried the food and it's delicious. They have all sorts of senior activities like exercise, bowling, movies, and bingo. The staff is wonderful. They're very caring. It feels like you're in your family home.

We went to see Winslow Court and it's beautiful. Everything's open, there were windows, you walk in and everybody there was friendly to me. And then the facility is nice and clean. I got introduced to some of the people and to certain people that do work there. All the people that were there, the seniors there were very nice, we were happy, and they were laughing. I saw a room, it was so beautiful and the facility is awesome. The manager is nice, the receptionists greet you when you come in, it's nice and very pleasant. We're going back today to see the rooms. The tour of the place was very nice, it was wide open, with big windows and everything so it makes you feel comfortable. They have an exercise room, and they have people that do a lot of stuff there. They gave me a list of the stuff they do. The cafeteria is always open, they have snacks for them and they could eat whenever they want. Another thing too, if you're going to take a room, they put you pretty close to the elevator or close to the lobby room. So they work to accommodate you, I'm pleased with the place. The outside is beautiful, they have a big yard, green grass, and trees where people could walk. If they have pets, they have a little doggie place there in the back. It's a nice, clean place to go to.

I went to visit Winslow Court Retirement Community. It's very beautiful. It's a nice place. Their apartments are very spacious. Most of all, the apartments are wheelchair accessible throughout the entire apartment, and they have really good walk-in showers and very spacious handicapped bathrooms, too. They have a calendar where they have all these different types of stuff planned out. You can participate if you choose to or not. They don't force anybody, but they have a lot of different things that go on throughout the month just to keep it interesting.

We visited Winslow Court. I was impressed with the longevity of the people that work there. Everybody was very friendly. One of the things I'm interested in is dad being able to bring his dog and also if he hasn't quit smoking, his ability to still have a place where he could go on campus and so that was available. They've reached out to me since we visited and asked about his health and everything, so that was all great. That's a place we're interested in. They were great. I've seen the menus, and the other thing I liked is they serve pretty much throughout the day. They don't have specific times. They have times for their meals but somebody can come down at another time of day and get anything they want. The staff was great. They're a little dated, but they've updated them. For my dad's needs, they were perfect.

The staff and the residents of Winslow Court were lovely. The rooms were very clean and they were the right size. My biggest concern, at this point, was the location of it. It's not easy to get to from the interstate, but they had their assisted living and independent mixed, which was a concept that I really liked. They've got open dining, so there's no specific meal times. You can just go and get food at whatever time is convenient for you, or whenever you're hungry, which is awesome. They also have a shuttle to take people out, games like bingo and poker, and a chef who has been there for like 12 years.

My partner moved to Winslow Court. He has a beautiful apartment with a new carpet and new paint. Everybody comes and checks on him, and introduces themselves. They're very friendly and attentive, and so far, the meals he's gotten are excellent. He's happy about that because I wasn't the best cook, so he's happy about the food. It seems like it's very well organized and very well run. And he, his daughter and I are very pleased. The staff has been outstanding. I was really surprised that they have a huge dog park, and you can take your dog out and let it run. Not too many places have that. It's an older building, but it's nice, it's all freshly painted, the halls and everything.

We are very happy with Winslow Court. My mom just moved in there this April. Everybody seems very caring, understanding, helpful, and friendly. We fixed her apartment up very nicely. We chose this facility partly because of the price, and the convenience. It is a smaller facility than some of the other ones that we looked at, so I thought it was a better fit for my mom. She will be 93 and in Winslow Court. She is staying on the first floor, so it is easy for her to find her way, unlike some of the other places where she would be up on the second or third floor and had to take the elevator down.
The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The head nurse has helped me so much with the medications and she is particularly wonderful too. They have people who have been working there for thirteen or fourteen years, and that kind of told me that it was a good place to work. They also lowered the bars for us. They provided us with a refrigerator, a cabinet, and a microwave in her room. These are just some things that they offered to do.
My mom only eats a small portion of food, so everything looks huge for her. They are trying to accommodate her with smaller portions. With the activities, they are just starting to open it up because of COVID. In fact, about maybe three or four weeks before my mom moved in, they had just opened the dining room. We still cannot visit her in her apartment yet, but they are hoping in about two weeks, we can. So far, we have only been able to have family visits in the common area.
The facility is an older building, so it has been around for a long time. They are maintaining it well by doing upgrades, and her apartment is actually very nice.

Winslow Court was nice. Their chef was there for thirteen years, and their food was mostly fresh. They only have independent and assisted living. Their one-bedroom didn't really have a full kitchen, although their one-bedroom with a suite did. You pay for the meals whether you use them or not, but they have three meals daily, and I like that. They showed me everything they had available. They said carports are being built. They didn't have a pool, but they had a gym, a van, a standard coffee bar, and a snack bar. They also offer short-term stays, which I like.

We've been to Winslow Court, and it's a wonderful place. The staff couldn't have been any better, she was excellent. It was very clean, welcoming, and the people that lived there looked very happy. The food was great too, the chef even came out and talked to us, and it was wonderful. We were very impressed.

When you walk in Winslow Court, you go to a desk and check in. The lady who took us on the tour was very nice, and all the staff was nice. They had a huge dining room, and over to the side, there was an area to watch TV. It was bright, cheerful, they had a piano and a lot of activities. I really liked it until we got to the bedroom. They had so many things available like a gym where they had people do physical therapy. It was organized really well. They had laundry service, games, music, and people coming in to perform.

Winslow Court has done a lot of renovations, which are very nice. The main room where folks get together to do activities was very nice. Because it is an older facility, the halls were dark, and narrow. It was kind of a hard sell and that immediately turned me off. Their amenities seemed fine. They had a multipurpose room that was also their chapel, and the dining room was very nice. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice.

I was impressed with everything at Winslow Court. The people we met and took us around did a great job showing us all around the facilities. People that were living there would come up and tell us how they felt, and everything was very positive. When we first got there, they were eating in the dining hall and there were other people putting puzzles together. Another group was doing a craft project, they also had a movie room, and there were people outside in the garden and patio area. I just wish there was a little more room in the double room, but it's not really a huge issue.

Winslow Court was very nice, clean, and fresh. They had a dining room and activity room. There was plenty of friendly staff to take care of the residents. The food was very good.

My mom has already moved at Winslow Court. The people were very nice, and their dining is open all day; you don’t have to go at certain times, and they do have a salon. It is also within our price range.

My mother is in assisted living at Winslow Court. The dining room is open for 12 hours a day, and they don’t have to adhere to certain hours. They can just go down and eat whenever they want at their convenience. They call in musicians and entertainers, and have games, movies, and outings. They have a bunch of activities over Christmas, like they had Santa come in and visit.

The price at Winslow Court is within our range, and the location is close to my brother. The place is comfortable and has really good reviews online. Their staff has a very positive work attitude.

Winslow Court is our second choice. We didn’t see any activities going on, and we didn’t see any people, either. It was small, and the location was very good. I just think the apartments were small but seemed nice.

Winslow Court was great. The food was wonderful -- absolutely excellent food. The accommodations were very nice, the room was spacious, and the carpet and paint were new. There are many activities for the people who live there. In fact, if I could move in, I'd move in there myself. It was really nice. Everything was clean and neat, and the dining facility was large and spacious. They had a million things for them to do that happened once a month, twice a month, or weekly. It just seemed like everybody's quality of life was so nice.

Winslow Court was very nice. They were quite a bit more expensive. They do not have the exercise room and equipment, but their food and their dining room were wonderful. I ate lunch there. It was excellent.

My mom is in Winslow Court now. They are amazing, so kind and just wonderful. They have so much stuff for the residents. Everytime I'm there, there's always something going on, whether it's crafts, playing cards, exercise class, live music, or an outing. There's so much variety for them to choose. All the residents seem genuinely happy there. The room was a lot bigger, and it was an actual apartment.

Winslow Court is a very nice facility and very well kept. They have good community relations, and they offer lots of entertainment. They have bingo, and they do exercise. They have lot of music programs in the afternoon and happy hour on Thursdays. They also have church services. They also take the residents to different places by their bus. I would definitely recommend this place.

Upon visiting Winslow Court, Ms. Deb met with us. She first asked a few questions regarding my dad's condition. Then she asked what kind of needs my dad would have; and whether my dad was in the military. Upon answering these questions, she provided different avenues to go. I expressed the need that when my dad moved, I wanted it to be his last time moving. So in the event of him going down hill with his health, he would remain in one facility and be taken care of as needed. I was told that would not be an issue, and there were many residence like that.
We then toured the facility. The appearance was cozy. The residence seemed quiet. By the time we left, we managed to see what the dining room was like and saw a couple friends from a few years ago.
One thing that was mentioned that I felt was odd was that they had 'Happy Hour'. Winslow Court provided the alcohol! That is really something my dad does not need to have considering his condition. It did make me wonder for the residence and for the reasons they were there.
Since then, the friends that were living there were told that they needed to move because they required more care than Winslow Court was able to offer. Considering my previous concern regarding my dad, I am so glad that this facility was not who we had chosen.

While Winslow Court seems like the dream Assisted Living Center for an aging parent, I wish we would have taken more time to check other homes in the area. I think we may have made a hasty decision and moved my mom in a little to quick. The home does have everything that she needs so she does not have to go out if she does not want too. They also offer activities for the residents and social gatherings. The staff during the week is excellent, but the weekend staff could use some lessons in manners. It also seems like everything has a price. With as much as a room cost, you would thing that they could include some of the very basic services to the residents. No one should have to pay 500.00 dollars for medication help. They are also suppose to provide a well- visit daily by the nurse, and this does not always happen. Over all my family is pleased with the facility
Artlady
This was a very nice place until a new manager made so many rules, the place seems like a prison. Activities and maintenace were cut to a bare minimum. The Assisted Living program is unreliable, understaffed and poorly run. The facility itself is old and does not accommodate wheel chairs in the apartments or the restroom in the public area. The Food Service is top notch. If it were not for that the residents would be even more unhappy.
