We went to Brookdale Skyline. It was very nice, very homey, and very comfy. Their rooms were a good size. They are very nice. It was a good place. They had a variety of rooms. At the time we were there, it was around lunchtime. There wasn't a whole lot of activities at that time. It was just everybody getting ready to go to lunch.

We went to look at the assisted living of Brookdale Skyline. The skilled nursing piece of it was what we were after. My dad needs more care these days, so we have to get him into someplace that's skilled nursing. It seems like my dad would get more care there. Everybody has a staffing shortage, but they seem to be handling it well. The staff was awesome. She was very informative and very personable. We liked her. It was a good tour. The exact apartment, if my dad should choose that place, was under construction, which was fine. At least, we saw that they were updating, making it fresh and clean, so that was good. The facility looked very clean to us. It was not feeling like an institution. It was beautifully decorated and on the higher end.

Brookdale Skyline is really big, and they really have a lot to offer. So, I remember being impressed by it, but I think for my sister it's going to be just too much. It's too big and there's too many people. It was a very nice facility. We only got to meet with one staff member. She did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable. The rooms were really nice, and they had several different styles. They had several different sizes like a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and suite. The staff showed us a map with the layout. They do have quite a bit of stuff there. It's somewhat newer maybe than the other one I visited. It seems like they have everything there. Everything looked really nice, clean, and organized.

The floor plans at Brookdale Skyline were very nice. They offered everything there. Their one- and two-bedroom apartments were really nice. They offer independent and assisted living, and you can get an apartment or a stand-alone if you want, and that's what I like about it. The staff who took me around was very good.
I like Brookdale Skyline the best. You could call a number there, and they had available people who would help you unpack and do that type of thing, which wasn't available at some of the other places. Their pricing was straightforward and clean, there was nothing to hide, and I like that. They offered a lot of amenities. It was laid out very nicely because if you felt like walking, you could walk a long distance just inside.

I had an in-person tour of Brookdale Skyline. It was very good. The staff checked back with me. She was very helpful in all aspects in answering questions and showing us around. It was very well kept and nice. The furnishings were appealing. Because of COVID, we could only see a certain area, so we didn't have lunch there. They had a beauty salon/barber shop. It was pretty homey.

Brookdale Skyline assisted living was nice, but way too big. There were too many twists and turns and you have to go up and down elevators, but it was an excellent facility, and the staff was wonderful. The residents looked happy the way they were all speaking to each other. They have different kinds of rooms like studios, two-bedroom apartments, and suites. The list of activities was humongous and they have a lot of good activities for them.

We liked the cottages at Brookdale Skyline, but the price was extremely high for us not having not to use any other services except living there. It was almost $5,000, which only included two meals, so that was way too high. They had some activities and a pool inside. The staff was extremely good and explained everything to us. The price was ridiculous, but they were fabulous.

Brookdale Skyline was a very nice place but very big. It had well over 500 people. It was too big for me and slightly more expensive. It had a lovely setting except that it was sort of isolated from the community. I thought the room was a little bit chopped up, and I would have found it hard to arrange my furniture because there were so many doors but roomy and comparable to other places. It had more windows.

My mom was in the rehab center (skilled nursing) and in Clare Bridge Memory Care. The experiences at both places were terrible. Her care in rehab was substandard. Left to sit in soiled diapers. Getting very little attention. I have no complaints about the therapists. They seemed to be doing their jobs. She had been there 3 times and hated it. I found out that she's still being billed for a wheelchair but she passed away at the end of July and here it is, almost December 1st. They had her sign for the chair and she had Alzheimer's. They don't know where it is, at this point. As far as Clare Bridge...a complete nightmare. Falls all the time, smelling like urine, her clothes turning up missing, rude employees, etc, etc, etc. So many urine stains on her (almost) brand new mattress, watery diarrhea left to dry all over the bathroom floor and lower part of the walls. She was on her death bed, semi-comatose, and no one called us for a day and a half. I found her in that condition when I went to visit her. Everyone was outside having a bbq while she was left in her bedroom, alone. We all missed out on time with her while she was left by herself. I wouldn't let either place take care of my neighbor's dog!!!

The place that would suit my parents' needs is Brookdale Skyline. We liked the setting, apartments, and amenities. It seemed to be well-kept, and it's close to where the kids are. It would allow my parents to stay together. They wouldn't have to move if their circumstances changed.

Visited many communities before selectingSkyline. From the time you walk in the door, you feel it is something different - in a good way. Staff and residents are so friendly and smiling. There is energy and activities no matter where yo walk. Other places it is dead, stale feeling - no one smiling. The property is well maintained with wonderful views. There is ample parking, everything you could want. The biggest difference is they care. They ask questions and listen to what you have to say. It just keeps getting better all the time. Great value for the dollar.

I'm at Brookdale Skyline. My daughter and I chose it because its suits my price range and needs more than the other ones. They have apartments and cottages. I chose the cottage because it provides a garage. We have a lot of hail and I do not want my car to get deformed, so the garage suits me. I have two bedrooms and two baths. I have a breakfast if I want and either a lunch or a dinner included in the price. I just have to pay for utilities, internet, and the telephone. Otherwise, everything else is inclusive.

Brookdale Skyline is absolutely excellent. The food is good, the staff is excellent, the facilities are first-rate and improved all of the time. I don't have criticism for any part of the facility whatsoever.

There are things that I like about Brookdale Skyline, but there are very few activities in the assisted living unit that appeal to my dad. They don't have consistent medical support. We had to wait a long time after we pressed the call button for someone to come assist us. They are not patient enough to wait for my dad to try to do things on his own. I like my dad's apartment, though. It is a one-bedroom apartment, so it is spacious enough for him. The food was just OK. In the assisted living, the food comes from another building, so the quality is not as good as in the independent living.

This is a really great place. The location and views are wonderful. The staff are so helpful, kind and friendly. There are so many places to walk and so much to do. The swimming pool and exercise area are really nice. I was surprised how fabulous and affordable the garden homes are. I don't know of any place else in Colorado that has anything like them. My mom loved her home there but now she loves her apartment there and has made so many friends. This community has been a blessing for my mother and for our entire family.

Mom wasn’t very long at Village at Skyline. The prices were really good for independent apartments. They have a pool which is very nice. It has a beautiful surrounding as it looks over the Red Rocks in Colorado. Their food is basically buffet style, and it is really good.

I am now at Village at Skyline, but I have my doubts about something. The facility is clean, and the workers are very nice and prompt. The food is alright, the activities are excellent, and the room is like an apartment. They have peak buildings, and they just bought Emeritus. I am happy and comfortable here.

Village at Skyline was nice, but there aren't a lot of windows. It's a pretty dark facility. Where the assisted living people eat is kind of down in the basement area or the lower level.
