We have found a place for my mom. She is staying comfortable at a place called Oakmont of Redding. What I like most about the community is that they have excellent staff support. They're very professional, and the accommodations are also very good. It's very clean. It's excellent. All the staff that I've encountered from the people working at the front desk to the people providing any type of service were excellent. I haven't eaten the food myself; but in talking to my mom, she said it's very good. They have a really nice dining facility, and they allow you to place orders for your food instead of just feeding you a particular item every day. They have a piano room, a library, and a nice gazebo sitting area inside a courtyard. They have a walking path around the exterior of the facility that's fenced in, where you have views of the Sacramento River.

Oakmont of Redding was a wonderful community. Excellent feedback. It was beautiful. The person who assisted us was very cheerful, very welcoming and very professional. The dining area was all seated. It was very clean and very tidy. They had puzzles, drawing, singing, and reading. The staff was excellent. We ate some goodies in the dining room, and they were good. The place itself was excellent. It was so clean.

I loved Oakmont of Redding. The staff was really nice. Everybody seemed to get along. I looked at the studio apartments, but I would not be in them very much. Being out, playing games, watching movies, and socializing is what I'd like to do. I talked to the sales clerk and the staff, and they were very friendly and very accommodating. I tried the food twice and it was very good.

Oakmont of Redding was really nice. The other places we looked at were stuffy old folks' homes. It was brand new, modern, luxurious, and had everything that my mother-in-law liked. The food was great. It was like a 5-star resort. They had all kinds of activities.

My parents moved into Oakmont of Redding one month ago. It's great. They've been really good and very happy. They've been very helpful. They have a lot of classes. You pay for different sized rooms and have a pretty good-sized split room, with a living room on one side and bedroom on the other. They have all meals included, which are really good. They have painting classes, bingo, exercise classes, even for people on wheelchairs, and excursions to bird watching, Costco, and the lake.

We toured Oakmont. The staff was very friendly, took us around, gave us the whole tour, and showed us several of the rooms. They had different sizes, from one room with a bath and small kitchen, to a two-bedroom apartment. The rooms in the memory care had no kitchen, but they were a nice size. We had an excellent lunch there. It was my husband's favorite community.
