Sundial Assisted living is located in the city of Redding, which is the county seat of Shasta County and sits on the Sacramento River in Northern California. We enjoy a sunny and mild climate all year round–perfect for those wanting warmer weather yet close to the river and the mountains.
We provide assisted living, independent living, and respite care services for seniors. Our wellness services and life enrichment opportunities are designed to maintain or improve the capabilities of each resident – with the emphasis on abilities and support to maintain independence.

My mother-in-law and father-in-law moved into Sundial Assisted Living, and they are very helpful, and they've made the process seamless. They have a main room at the entrance, and then they have four wings with housing rooms in all four wings. The staff is great. They love the food, and they're both diabetic, so that's saying something because they like dessert. The place is very clean.

Friendly staff, they work together with family to take care of residents needs. My Mom has lived here 3 and 1/2 years now. The building is light inside. They offer a variety of activities. Here is opportunity to walk outside and visit on front porch. Very happy with Sundial! - Denise M

The staff at Sundial Assisted Living will live in my heart for the rest of my life. The care they showed my mother was beyond words. They make everyone feel like family. After my mother passed it felt awkward to not go there anymore. I think of them often and make sure I periodically visit their Facebook page to keep in touch. They care about each and every resident. I can’t say enough good about them.

I used Sundial AL for respite care for my 98 year old aunt for the past 4 years. While she wasn't always eager to go, that waa just her, she always had a great stay. The employees were wonderful with her. The office staff is the best! If she were still living I would still use Sundial to carr for her while my husband and I got away. I think Sundial really step up to the plate when they started taking reservations for their respite bed. It allowed us to really plan our vacations in advance.

Sundial Assisted Living was very nice. The people were very nice. However, we're not ready for that yet. The person who helped me was very helpful and very kind. We did not observe any activities. However, they have a place for ladies' haircuts, manicure, and pedicures, and they have a men's barbershop too. I did not see the exercise area, but I did see a TV room. Overall, Sundial Assisted Living was pleasant and clean.

Sundial Assisted Living had nice rooms. The staff gave us a tour of the whole facility, and took us into several different rooms. Some were shared, some private, and they were very spacious and nice. They invited us for lunch, and the food was excellent.

We chose Sundial Assisted Living because her nurse's mother was there, and they highly recommended it for her. It is where my friend wanted to go. The staff was very nice and very compassionate. The place is very clean, and I thought it is a very nice. They have movies and card games. There are different activities going on all the time. The dining room was very nice, and the food seemed to be very good. They do have a separate room where family can come to cook and have meals with the loved ones there.
