This is my first introduction to a memory care facility (not a perfect world). The amount of responsibility that goes into this type of work is unbelievably challenging most of the time. I have the utmost respect for all that are apart of Pacifica S.B. you are AmaZing Special People. I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do in a day or a night depending on shift. You are compassionate, caring, humorous, loving, patience people. I love you all thank you!!!

I was immediately impressed with how friendly and sincere everyone was at Pacifica. While there are programs and things to do there, they really focus on getting to know the residents and building friendships. They encourage visiting and family involvement. It's very relaxed and calm there.

In moving a loved one into a facility that will have strangers and new surroundings is a hard decision and one that should be taken seriously with where their new residence will be. The staff made this decision easy for us. They were so warm and welcoming in the interview process and was genuinely interested in our mother and her likes, dislikes, demeanor, and overall persona. The rooms are new and well thought out. I like the fact that the facility is smaller, which allows more one on one attention. There are plenty of activities throughout the day and the food seems great. The first day my mom was given a manicure she enjoyed. The staff is very loving and attentive. To date we feel we made the right choice for our mother. Thank you staff of Pacifica, you made a very difficult decision, not so difficult.

Pacifica Santa Barbara is a beautiful community with a lot of outdoor space. My Uncle loves to sit on the patio every morning and in their garden area every evening. The team there really knows what they are doing. Their staff are able to calm even the most agitated people in a kind and gentle manner. They are worth their weight in gold.

Pacifica Senior Living Santa Barbara Is a very nice Senior living residential facility with patients with demenia and others like. The rooms are clean, with a sink, two closetes and drawers. Some room have a jack and jill restrooms or a single restroom. Rooms may be single occupancy . There is a living room area with couches, chairs , TV,and a piano. There is also two courtyards for residents and families to visit in. There is a full menu service with meals from the chef served meals and snacks The caregivers knows each person by name and make them fill important. I liked how the rooms are set up so you can take a walk down the hall and make a complete loop. The staff seem very warm caring and friendly to visitors and residents.

We received a complete vertical tour of the facility prior to our loved one entering. Once we spoke with the Executive Director, we felt very positive and informed. Mrs Moore answered all of our questions, seemed very knowledgeable about Dementia. Mrs Moore listened to our needs, she explained things in detail so that we could understand. She didn’t use jargon , nor did she Sugar coat anything. Very professional and knowledgeable. Once our loved one was admitted, we noticed a calmness. The facility is clean, and very tastefully decorated(calming and pleasing to the eye). the staff is courteous, treats the residents with respect. There is always something for the residents to do. We are very happy that our loved one is at this facility. The management team Mrs Moore & Ms Santiago are a great asset to the facility. I consider them the “great dynamic duo because of their knowledge, dedication and the caring staff & services they provide. Mrs PD Hightower

Checked it out a couple of times before having my husband become a resident of it. I am pleased with the care he is getting and one thing I really am pleased about is that hospice care can be provided there if needed.

I visited Pacifica Senior Living Santa Barbara. It has an enclosed feeling to it, and you have to buzz to get in and out of the gate. It seemed darker than the other place I visited. It's an older building that needs to be updated to look newer and brighter. The staff was very nice. They have outings, TV, and three meals a day.

The community had gone through some remodeling and renovations. The administrator was a registered nurse. She was very nice and took me all through the community. They have daily activities like music, and they go out in their van periodically. It was one of the older and smaller communities that I went to, not quite as fancy, but I think they’d do a good job.
