We visited The Woods at Cedar Run. It was a very nice facility. Everybody was really nice and they answered our questions. We went in, they walked us through. They explained the different departments, we got to the area that we needed for my father, how many people were in that group, and they told us how many meals they would get. They would get snacks in the afternoon. There can either be one individual in the room or two, depending on the type of room that they would like. Each room has a bed and each apartment has its own bathroom. They had a community area where they eat all the meals, and all doors are locked from the inside and the outside. Nobody can come in or nobody can go out. They had different activities that they worked with.

The Woods at Cedar Run was very nice. We looked at the memory care. I liked the people, the way it was set up, and the cleanliness of it. They seemed to really care about their senior citizens. It just seemed like they were open to being very helpful. The rooms were nice. The building was nice. I liked the outdoor area where the senior citizens could go out to the garden area. There was a creek nearby that they could go and look at. It seemed like a very nice setup.
They have a hair salon, a little bistro, a garden, a little area where the senior citizens can go outside and sit and enjoy the outside, a little chapel area, a movie theater for movie night, and another area where they can entertain, like an organ player comes in to entertain these senior citizens. They have bingo. They have all different kinds of stuff for the senior citizens. The staff was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The facilities were very good.
