We went to Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park. The gal that we met with spent a lot of time with us and took us around the facility. She also had some recommendations with possibly doing assisted living into memory care, because they do have that transition there. They have an activities room and we met the gal that does that, and she's been there for quite a while.
There were just a couple of things with some of the rooms where you didn't have separate entrances, though they had Jack-and-Jill bathrooms in most of them. I thought that could be a little confusing for someone with memory care issues. They might go to the wrong side when they went in the door.
They have a courtyard in the middle of the building. The building goes around it so you can go outside in, and they had some nice seating areas out there. It was a little wet, so we couldn't go out to see exactly what it looked like. The facility was very clean. There's a hospital not too far away.
