My mother will be moving into Quail Ridge Assisted Living. I thought it was the largest apartment of all the ones that I visited. It was really clean and everything that I saw was in order. The room didn't have any bad smells. It didn't matter whether I went with them or not, the staff would help me out. The facade was all brick, it's pristine, and it looked nice. Everything's clean. I see interaction with the staff and members. I was just there yesterday and I witnessed interactions and everybody seemed to be nice. They've got a podiatrist that comes for their toenails and fingernails, they also have a salon where you can get your hair cut, and they have exercise equipment, but that's in assisted living. The actual memory care didn't have anything like that because that's not safe for memory care people to be getting on equipment like that.

I went to see Quail Ridge Assisted Living, and look around the outside. Then we did a virtual tour. I saw their memory care facility, the common areas, an apartment, their patio, and their food service. The person who did the tour with me did a very good job; very personable. I had talked to her on the phone several times before and after the tour. I liked her a lot. They have some things that are available that are too ostentatious, I didn't think my husband would be able to do. So, I discarded some of the neat things that they have like a swimming pool and things like that. I just didn't think he's up to it, so I discounted those. It is kind of nice, but it would be better if you were in the assisted living, and doing things. It's just done right. It was a good tour; it was a tour where she actually walked around and showed me where she was walking. So, it was a good one.
I tried the food there. She brought the lunch they were serving that time, and I had lunch there. It was excellent food. I really enjoyed it. She was really doing a good sales job.
