I've been to Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls. A friend of mine who's moved away, her mom is there with Alzheimer's, and we try and visit her like once a couple of weeks, or once a month. It's a lovely facility, the food is amazing, and the Alzheimer's unit is very small and very well taken care of. I noticed the same staff is there whenever I go, so that's kind of nice too. It's always clean, they don't have people just hanging in a chair, they try to get them active and involved, and there's a point where they wanted people to come down and relax, but they're wonderful, and I really like them there. It's nicely set up, they have a kitchen area, and an area where they'll feed the people, it's setup table wise, it's a nice, big, open room, and it's very, very nice. I ate there last Christmas, and it's excellent. They had a wonderful dinner for everybody. I've been there during meal times, and they had just lots of choices, it seemed that they knew what the people liked, and had lots of choices for everybody.

We're very pleased with Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls. My mother is in memory care under hospice, and she seems to have adjusted very well. A lot of her tendencies that she was showing at home have calmed down. They watch after her and take care of her very well. She has gained eight pounds, which is excellent, because she had been losing weight the whole time at home. She loves the food. You would never imagine you were walking into a nursing home. It feels more like a hotel. It has very comfortable surroundings. When we walked in there, we felt very at ease with it. Their staff is awesome. Each meal they bring out three choices for each entree. The facility is excellent and very clean. I've never had any issues with it. They have activities for each individual, and she has participated in a lot. It's one of the most reasonable places I found.
