We toured The Nottingham. We were impressed with them, but the one drawback was that they could only accept about 20 people in their memory care wing. The other facility could accept about 68, and they had like five openings available right away. The Nottingham, since they could only accept about 20 people, had like about a three to five months waiting period.
The overall experience was very good. The staff was very professional. They had very high ratings. I was very satisfied with talking with them. They were very informative. We didn't try the food. It was a time when the food wasn't being served, so we didn't observe that, but they explained that they cater to individual dietary needs and so on. The dining area was very neat and clean. There were a few people there just having coffee or something because it was kind of mid-morning. But it just seemed very clean. The rooms were a little bit bigger than the other facility. They had some of their own furnishings in the rooms, but people were allowed to bring in some of the personal furnishings to give it a kind of a homey feel.
