The Windsor of Lawrence is a licensed assisted living residence dedicated to providing quality services in a warm, comfortable environment. We offer professional, personalized services designed to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.

Tailored Services

At The Windsor, we recognize that each person has individual needs and preferences. With this in mind, The Windsor Tailored Services Program provides flexible service combinations. You may choose only the services included in the base monthly rate, or select additional personal care services and assistance. Either way, you pay only for the services you need.

Monthly Rate includes:

I toured The Windsor of Lawrence and they were right on time for the tour schedule. We sat down with the staff and asked questions about my wife's present condition, so they could pick the places that we needed to go in the facility. I thought Amber was quite professional and quite caring about the way she did it. The place was well-kept and I was impressed with the number of residents in the memory care unit. There are only five residents in each cottage. So, there was that much attention in the memory unit, which was very good, and I had a chance to talk to the nurse and she seemed very capable as well. They have a courtyard right off the memory unit outside with lots of flowers. It's a place that would be welcoming to the people. The area for meals was very small, but there are only five people. So, I understand the reason for it. I thought the rooms were small too, and that's the biggest concern that I have because our bathroom here at home is bigger than their studio unit. I'm not saying it's bad. It's just not what my wife's used to, and that's the issue. It's very nice though and certainly, I didn't find anything that didn't seem appropriate. The dining room was very nice and the entire facilities were well kept and well maintained. There were no odors and I saw nothing wrong with the facility at all. Another thing that I thought was positive was the cost ratio to the appearance and maintenance of the facilities. The rates were very good given the condition of the place and the facilities.

I am not that happy with The Windsor of Lawrence. The location is good, the building looks nice and they keep it up, but they're understaffed and they don't know what they're doing. They haven't reached out to me the way I thought they would have. When my wife first got there, the only room available was in assisted living and it was fine. She then went to their memory care area, and she has not liked it at all since she has been there. The nurses have said she was doing so good at the assisted living area, we should have her back there. I've asked the director to look into it and let me know, and I still haven't heard anything from them. The food is not adequate and doesn't look appetizing at all.
