I'm very satisfied with Village Place. They are very attentive. If my husband falls, I would get a phone call from them telling me how he fell and what he injured. They're very on top with everything. His room is very nice and I wouldn't mind living there because it is a big room. I have eaten a couple of meals with my husband, and the food is very good. Right now, with this pandemic, it is hard on everybody but they're trying to keep them stimulated and entertained. I'm very satisfied with my choice. Also they don't have a distinct nursing home smell, which to me is very important. Their activities are engaging and fun. It is very homey and very engaging. The outside needs a little bit of love. It needs some painting. It is an older home and it is not new, so it is going to need some love. I was only there three days and then they did a lockdown, so I only saw the 3-day worth of activities, but they seemed very fun. They post a lot of pictures online, which is nice. Value for money is good. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Village Place Retirement was phenomenal. I'd stay there myself as it's very nice. It was a really great experience. The only problem is everything is above my pay grade. I like that they don't do everybody's laundry together. The rooms they had were really nice and they had a lot of activities for the people. The place smelled good. The staff was all friendly, very professional, and informative. I can't say enough good things about it.
